Summer 2023
Planted on 5/20/23 in 8 Harbor Freight 5 gallon buckets. A few inches of pond rocks in each bucket, filled with Coco Loco from Hewitt’s. Buckets had holes drilled in the bottom for drainage and in the sides for aeration. Seed purchased from Royal Queen Seeds. Watermelon and Green Gelato are autoflowers, the Critical is feminized.

SaviiBuds Looks great, especially for a first grow! You probably already did, but I would get rid of those few sketchier looking leaves in the second picture before she starts to dry just to be safe. Good job growmie! I bet she’s gonna taste amazing.
YZ250f12154 Thank you! I didn’t know I should get rid of those leaves, I figured I could just leave them for when I dry trim. I’ll get on it tomorrow!
SaviiBuds You don’t “have to” necessarily, but it’s good practice in my opinion. If there is even the tiniest chance that it is some sort of fungal pathogen then leaving it could be detrimental and potentially threaten your entire harvest. I think the safest thing to do is to get rid of sketchy leaves after any harvest vs risking something spreading and/or really setting in during the drying process.

Dpoolig The ones I posted this year are all royal queen, I haven’t tried yet but in about 2 months I will, they all smell great and are very sticky and hairy so that’s a good sign
