Coco Melon - Mod. Mainline

First Time Mainlining

This is the first time I’m mainlining. I accidentally broke the right side growth node (ie unintentional topping) and am now growing this as a modified mainline.

Day: 60

The plant wasn’t phased by the trunk cracking - in fact it looked like it had already bifurcated itself internally before it broke. May be a slight nitrogen deficiency as the new growth is looking a bit light, but otherwise it’s very healthy.

Joshy They still alive?

Day: 57

I pushed the training a bit too hard today and split the mainline. Honestly, I doubt this will have any impact on the plant. She’s going into flower tonight.

Day: 47

+1

She was ready for the final topping today. Each side was topped at the third node, and the second node was removed, creating eight cola sites. I will continue veg for a couple weeks and see how she develops.

PotBot You got 16 there bud 4 per branch.

PotBot Looks good though. Keep up the work should be a great producer.

SparrowHillGrow Right you are. I miscounted. The early screw up of the mainline kind of threw this off, but it’s always fun to experiment with new training techniques.

Day: 46

She is just about ready for the last topping. Today I will defoliate a bit and tighten the wiring down to get the close to final shape.

HendrixKush I liked the way you trained her man your doing a great job

Day: 43

The first and third nodes of each side will be kept for flower. The fourth node has just started to grow. I am going to wait until at least the fifth node appears and then do the final topping. I can’t get this into my flower room for 5-7 more weeks, so I’m not sure how I will maintain the training until then. I may have to flower this out (at least start it) in my veg room 😢
