Citradelic Sunset x4 tent grow Apex Seeds
Summer 2023
Another journey. This time with a sativa dominant strain from ethos. Soaked seeds 24 Hr then put into peat plugs until sprouted. Then transplanted to a 1G pot with seedling mix on top and FFOF on bottom. Moved to tent after a week under fluorescent lights. Now under my SF5000

Joey weed seed What type of Mildew ? Was it on the buds ?
TrpX Hope you got them all Cherry now!
Caliban It was powdery white mildew on some of the leaves. I sprayed everything with the potassium bicarbonate solution. Buds look clear. Although raining all day in CT! I’ll go back tomorrow and apply more spray to keep the ph on the leaves alkaline

Cut down the affected plants. Harvested a few buds that were clear of mold. Washed them in peroxide. Let’s sure what they look like when dried. Maybe 1 plants worth? Also Duckfoot doing great

Discpimp 🤢🤮😭 brutal stuff Caliban sorry to see this.
Only4plants_ Citradelic sunset ethos great strain. My auto i got 79 grams out of two gallon pot for my third harvest
Caliban This one is my mistake. There was some dead leaves behind the jars to reach plant that got wet and moldy and I never discovered until too late. Maybe some top buds are clean but prolly not. 🤦♂️

Tragedy strikes my grow tent. Noticed that 2 of the main colas developed bud rot so I had to cut them out. Hard to I spect every bud and the humidity is pretty high. Fans always on so just bad luck.

combatmedic81 Sorry to hear that
Caliban Bad timing too because I’m flying to Brasil for work and wife is going to monitor. Not optimal! 🤦♂️
Tallboy2023 Bummer. How did you discover it? What was your RH level?

Frisian Duckfoot. Very stealthy. Had a bunch of ppl over a few days ago and none could Identify it as cannabis.

zer0applied Looks like I know what I’m growing outside now. I grow indoors purely for the privacy, it’s legal but I don’t want the attention. This doesn’t even look close to canna :)
Caliban It’s a great strain to grow so far. My state is legal too but don’t want the neighbors complaining. Frisian Duck from Dutch Passion seeds.
TrpX Wow! Are you sure that’s not a tomato plant? ;-) That’s a trip!

Hot day. 84f with 80% RH. Watering every other day now.

BINAII Bruh, I really lie the way your garden is looking. Keep doing what you’re doing.

Haven’t posted in a bit. Ending week 3 flower. The tent plants are too tall! I let them veg too much and now have to raise lights to roof. Outdoor Frisian Duck looking great. Stealthy.

Caliban Also went on a work trip and came back with a gnat Infestation. Yellow tape and Diatomaceous earth doing the work. Under control after letting top soil dry out too.
Discpimp Damn man that’s rough. Get some mosquito bits and make a tea. Stuff works great at killing the eggs and are just a bacterium no pesticides.
pretzelbuds Curious how you keep your fans from blowing the DE around inside the tent.

Discpimp Looking thick for day 47 shaping up to be another great run Cali nice job. Just saw the post about chlorine in tap water thank you for sharing. Yet another myth debunked by science.
Caliban Thanks Disc. Great to hear from you. These plants are getting too big. So flipping this week once I take some cuttings.

Posting some data showing tap water chlorine is so minimal as to have no affect on soil grown plants. Another bro science myth.

BINAII You haven’t seen any side effects to the development of your plants when you use city tap water for an entire grow?
Caliban None. I actually had more issues using RO water from my dehumidifier. With RO I saw more micro nute issues and had to supplement. With tap I haven’t seen a single issue. Not with tomatoes in my garden or multiple crops of cannabis. You can always let it sit out overnight to let it degass if you feel uncomfortable but I don’t anymore. Leaving it sit for a few hours is more about getting it to room temp.

The plants really thriving after the transplant. Some the the leaves are wide due to high RH otherwise pretty normal. The bud is from my last batch.
