Mmhmm!! I’m super happy with this lady, I have learned quite a bit that can only be experienced and not learned from a book! This is definitely one of the greatest things I have every done! There is sooo much satisfaction from this hobby and a very calming effect from the patience it takes to reap the rewards! I’m looking forward to the next few weeks! She seems too be packing on some weight!

xXTheWolfXx It looks like some serious nutrient deficiencies or lockout happening..not trying to be a dick, but next time you water, water hard enough to get a bit of runoff and ph the water and find out what the ppm or EC of the runoff is. A healthy plant should stay mostly green all the way through, some like to “fade” their canopy mostly for the plant to catabolize its stored nitrogen for a “smoother smoke”. By essentially keeping your plants a healthy shade of green helps maximize the plants ability to create as many cannabinoids and terpenes as genetically possible for that particular cultivar..there is more to it but it revolves around keeping your plant healthy all the way through. We are all forever learning and I’m by far no “master grower” but I am no tourist to the industry, been growing since the mid 90s

stuartm1 @the wolf. I have the same issue with my first grow - super silver haze sativa under a 630w cmh light. It’s 7 weeks into flower and 40% of fan leaves have yielded their nutrients. Is there a need to reduce lighting intensity during flowering? It’s a prodigious amount of bud tho.

xXTheWolfXx

xXTheWolfXx At week 7 is a good time to start ramping the light intensity down little by little..but it depends on the cultivar..I’ve never grown SSH but I understand it leans sativa in it’s growth patterns..basically the last 2-3 weeks before harvest it’s good practice to ramp temps down into the mid 70s, ramp your RH down, keeping it on the dry side of the VPD and lower the light intensity…it helps preserve the terpenes and cannabinoids and with ripening.

Just going to use ph’d water till finish. It could be salts that have built up. I’m going to set up better drainage next round with a better runoff tray. I still have high hopes for this lady!!

Frosting up!! The third is the main cola that touched the light and now has an interesting bud formation. It’s almost as if it topped itself from the burn.

Sooo this might be amnesia haze, it came as a freebie, I’m not really sure. The Santa Maria (Planck) might’ve shown through but probably my inexperience and less than desirable conditions. It could be lots of stretching but seems to be filling out decently. What do you think?

mikki1time Holy smokes those are some poles

mikki1time

mikki1time Bro don’t doubt yourself you’ll see that this is how you get the best weed in these long kolas

dudewheresmybud

dudewheresmybud For sure, i just don’t think I got the strain I was supposed to get. It was only supposed to be ~2ft and basically be done by now but I am excited to see what she can do! Thank you for the encouragement!

donotgrowlikeme

donotgrowlikeme If this gets worse you will get leaf die back and will yellow out curl and turn crunchy brown

dudewheresmybud

dudewheresmybud Awesome! Thank you for all the advice! I’m probably going to go to the hydro store and scoop up a couple more bottles of nutes

Main touched the light and got burned so I peeled the top back and hung the light outside the tent. For genes that are supposed to top out around 2’ this is a lil ridiculous!

My light was too close and she got burned a little bit (maybe alotta bit) My solution was to hang the light from the clips that held the adjustment “straps”. We will see if she bounces back, I have high hopes because she be harrr-t!! Plus a few buddies so she doesn’t get lonely!

dudewheresmybud

dudewheresmybud Any tips would be appreciated!!

mikki1time

mikki1time Wow I know it’s a bit fucked but it looks really cool … I’ve never had light burn present itself like this but if that’s what you think it is all you have to do is back that puppy up about 5 inches

I wasn’t watering enough for flower and she was a little droopy but a few days of extra agua and she perked right up! I almost misdiagnosed as nutrient burn due to the browning/crispy leafs. Hopefully just another month or so!!

okiegrower1993

okiegrower1993 I believe the browning may be a ph drift I’d check the ph of the run off and make sure it’s not to high if the problem continues I’ve had this problem in coco before looks like calcium or magnesium deficiency but was ph drift locking out nutrients

dudewheresmybud

dudewheresmybud Thank you! I will look that up and learn some more. (Also ph my runoff)
