Day: 89

Bushing out upon the 90 day mark

Day: 71

Had some limp leaf scare trying to keep up with watering and my air flow might be messing with Leo’s leaf growth. Still turtle-timing

Day: 59

Michaelangelo is stocky, but has the best bush out of the lot right now

Day: 57

Leonardo

Day: 52

Just keeping up with pinching and making sure the leaves are leveling out. Showcased here is Donatello. Him and Leo are still competing for alpha, but Donnie’s got some nice bush comin in now.

Day: 42

Cages are set. Donatello here is digging his new set up.

Day: 39

The pinching is getting some good branching off. Donatello has taken out Leo as the most evenly growing alpha. Rafael and Michaelangelo have still been much more short and stocky by comparison. A little behind the other too. Mikey is having some weird fan Meath growth to keep tabs on too.

Day: 30

Started pinching after set 4 of the leaves. Was surprised when I put river rock on the top soil of two of them and saw some big growth difference compared to the other two. So river rock went down on RAF and Mikey today too.

Day: 26

This is my second time layering the final pots in the 3 sections of the soil I now prefer. First stage, Light Warrior seed starter. Second stage, Happy Frog. Third stage and base layer, Ocean Forest. These soils from Fox Farm really do the trick and can maximize the growth with the enriched nutrients they contain.

Day: 24

The signature 5 point leaves are sprouting now. They’ve settled into the 5 gallons nicely and recovered from the earlier scares.

Day: 22

So far so good with them settling into the 5 gallons. Still noticing some discoloration on the base leaves, but the new growth looks nice. Keeping the tent in the 75/75 temp humidity range through this stage has been so much easier with controllers installed.

Day: 19

I noticed some strain in the leaves. Yellowing. Darkening. Had to go into troubleshoot mode trying to figure out what had the Turtles under attack. Turned out, the most likely culprit was the roots were already getting bound in the Dixie cups. This has been the fastest I’ve needed to transplant em into their forever homes. 5 gallon grow bags are set. Fingers crossed they perk up after the transplant shock.

Day: 17

Michaelanglo seems to be doing okay despite that little curve in the leaves. Our late bloomer, Rafael, is the current alpha with the most even green and growth. Keeping tabs on Leonardo (right) because he was the early bloomer, he is the skinniest stem, the tallest, and there is a faint hue of yellow in his green. Update in a few days.

Day: 13

Keeping an eye on Michaelangelo. Leaves are curling down a bit. He was always a little goofy from the seed on though.

Day: 11

Couple of them got a little wind whipped trying to adjust the fans and thicken their stocks up. Progressing ok regardless

Day: 9

They’re looking a little skinny this morning. I’m adjusting the fan speed and lowering the oscillating units to keep a gentle breeze on em so they might thicken up before transplant time.

Day: 7

The Light Warrior Potting Soil is such a nice go to when getting them primed for the early days.
