Bag seed. Penn’s Blend CBD Hemp

Summer 2019

One seed in 5 gallon. Soil: 3 parts compost/manure, 3 parts peat moss, 2 parts perlite, 1 part vermiculite. Really started on 14th but either it’s not numbering my days correctly or I’m too stoned to understand why it’s one day short. Probably both. Maybe start date is day 0? That would make the most sense I guess.

Day: 30

Still growing! The stalk is still very thin for how tall it’s starting to get. I don’t know if I’m supposed to trim or FIM at this point or not. Any help is appreciated.

Joegreenquad Looks like it was stretching to get light maybe. Topping or FIM’ing would definitely help. You can also scar the lower section of the stem and then put more soil in and it will begin to grow more roots. I would not do it all together though. Might be pretty stressful for her.

popwar Could be that! I’ll move the lights lower to see if that helps. They’re at about 24” or so but maybe a little more right now so lowering them could make a lot of difference.

Monday July 8, 2019 Apparently 3 leaves isn’t that odd after all. May start growing 5-7 finger leaves soon or could just stay 3 leaves. Some said they had one leaf with a massive cola. So hopefully won’t affect the grow.

Day: 22

A lot of growth recently. I’m reducing the light it gets tonight to see if the leaves will widen up a bit. If it’s a regular seed then it doesn’t need to be on 24 hour lights anyways. I planted one in the yard and the leaves on it are much wider than the indoor one. The indoor was germinated. The outdoor one I put on ground and covered with dirt. I’m just curious how much if a weed these really are and if they grow like weeds or if it’s a misnomer.

Day: 19

Been leaving lights on 24 hours for most part. This is the first time I fertilized. You can see the wet soil mark where I poured it in. I didn’t want it too close to the plant cuz I didn’t wanna shock or burn it. Used a very gentle 2-2-2 Miracle Grow liquid pack. Plant is now almost 3 weeks old (2 days shy). So I figured week 3 to be a good time as it should be about to get into high gear vegetative state. It’s really grown in the handful of days between my posts. She is getting tall and the leaves are still a little narrow. I have a feeling she might be a tall one. I’ll have to do some LST/HST most likely.
