Hoober How far do you keep your lights from the plants when they are seedlings?
Zerocool I tried to keep them close. I don’t always get to be home to check on them so I sometimes have to leave the lights up so they didn’t touch the lights. I don’t have a big light so I have to keep it high so everywhere gets light. What suggestions or advice do you have? This is my first grow
Hoober Well I have a 300w marshydro light. I’m getting a tent in the mail soon. But I’m probably not the one to be giving advice lol. I’m struggling getting my plants to grow as is. I think it’s got something to do with where the light is im guessing. I moved it about 2 feet away from the seedlings which are about an inch big now

Too bushy and going to be too tall for this tent. Going to move them to a closet I have down stairs. Give them more space and I’ll use this tent for the seedlings.

Trying to move branch’s and leaves around so light can get as low as possible.

Swapped the white led with the 2 red ones because after I added those lights number 2 grew fast and became the taller plant. Yellowing in the leaves stopped nutrients and flushed. Adjusted nutrient ratio and topped up the autopot tank. Found pistils on number 1 finally

Some nutrient burn on the tips. I’ll flush and readjust the ratio. Thrips are still there. Noticed a couple holes in the leaves. Nothing I’ve tried works. Also saw some preflowering. Both look female.

Been seeing little marks on the plants past few days. Turns out they are “thrips”. Found a few crawling over the leaves. Little orange things. Home remedy I heard was mix of water and isopropyl. See what happens. I’ll be checking the plants more carefully from now on.

Dropped the light down and rotated plants. Noticed 2 leaves have red tips. Watered down the nutrients and top fed pure water
