All planted in three gallon pots using happy frog, ocean forest, and proganics to see differences etc. all these plants were severely and just messed up from the bugs and poor soil choice I made to save some money. Never again.

Everyone is doing really well. Treated with captain jacks dead bug last night and watered with my usual cocktail. Still need to repot a few out of the hot ass soil etc.

Need to repot the ones in miracle gro pro-ganic soil, burning the shit out of them. It was a little test and the results are what I figured. However, if it wasn’t so loaded up with nutes it would be a really good soil for canna. Thrips are back, dead bug tomorrow. Watered w/ recharge, myco+, and liqui-dirt. My go-to after years of every fucking product.

TheSocialGrower Never heard a grower recommend Liqui-dirt🤔 I just looked at reviews on Amazon and they’re glowing too. I’ve seen it at like houseplant stores and always thought it looks too gimmicky to be true… I might have to give it a shot
zer0applied So I thought it was a total scam, snake oil until I threw some soil samples under the microscope. My background is in biotech so I get to take stuff to work and play with the toys etc. trust me, I have about ten products and that’s all that’s allowed in my garden.
zer0applied Just a little info I culled the autos from this grow (experiment with Kellogg’s soil). Failed. Took me over a month to un-stunt these photos including cutting 90 percent of their roots off and doing some weird shit to them. Love science. Anyways, microbes can save plants 🌱 🪴

A total mess moving things around. These are all the fucked up plants from my partially culled grow. I was able to bring them all back by cutting their roots back, repotting them and rehabbing them. Took a month to even see any growth/rebound/past shock.

This was what was salvageable from shooting myself in the foot. They’re 39 days old and are tiny. They’re bouncing back. The ones that are in the fabric pots are the ones that picked up the fastest but everyone is getting transplanted. Just takes time. Need more hours in the day!

amithus What do you think cause the problems? The soil? Was it too hot nute wise? I used ocean forest and a few of mine started slowly, I figured it was just genetic variation from being seeds but I’m interested in your thoughts. And thank you for your advice on my grow. I ordered a mechanical light timer and the mosquito bits. 🫡
