Day: 255
Photos of plants from October 2nd just before I started harvesting gp she unfortunately suffered some really bad rot in the roots/stem water flowed directly against her, she is the seven coat hangers in the front of the drying shot and is in jars as of last night weight is 330 grams (~11oz). Those coat hangers are full now with LS cuttings as well as everything in the photos already from same, still got more to harvest as in last photo.

Sweet & Sour Chicken Wow I never grew outdoors how do you deal with pest like gnats and thrips? What do you do?
Sweet & Sour Chicken Looks amazing great job
rpeers Had to think on this as I havenβt done much of anything, hopefully you havenβt jinxed me, healthy plants naturally deter bugs when other plants are available to pests, good airflow, keeping leaf material clear and daily care/inspection. If i do notice an issue I will be applying neem oil to the plants but so far the only chewed leaves I identified the culprits as earwigs and with their removal the plants have so far been free from pests.

Zeyberlin Does the heat coming off that fan unit bother the plant any?
rpeers I havenβt noticed any heat stress on the gdp nearest to it, it does have 30cm space between it and the planter box, the breeze created across the plant when it is kicked on helps keep bugs from setting up shop on her bushy side I think
rpeers Daily temps have fluctuated a lot but I think the most has been around 32-34c around 38c with humidex

Gave the soil a flush for ten minutes with the hose, to keep salt buildup down and to replace moisture away from root areas since it has been quite dry naturally Also dumped reservoir and refreshed at 2040ppm 6.0ph

rpeers 160L Tank with circulation pump, and 380gal/hr pond pump feeding a drip irrigation system
Mystrain420 Sorry if these are dumb questions but how do you plan to flower them? Are you in a region thatβs already having shorter daylight hours to initiate flowering?
rpeers A man who asks a question is a fool for a moment, the one who does not ask is a fool forever, these are going to be monsters by the end I will allow them to do their own thing when it comes to flowering I expect it to begin mid August, if I hit frost or really inclimate weather conditions I think I should be able to make a quick hoop house between the wall and the fence (not seen) behind me that is roughly eight feet from the wall.

BA&A95 Just curious what does the netting do?.. just for support?
rpeers The netting allows for both support and the ability to train the plant for more top colas, I reduced the height of the second trellis from this photo the lemon skunk wants to grow the 12β to the next netting right now but I keep pushing the heads back down and weaving them under the trellis. I will post some new photos of each plant today.
BA&A95 Right on I did something similar last year but more make shifty. Haha but thank you, Iβm gonna have to check it out when you do, that look gorgeous ππ½

hotbox_beauty Beautiful respectable set up β€οΈπ±
rpeers Thank you, an absolute work in progress though, even since legalization in 2018 this is the first year I have set up outdoors and the space available to me was definitely limited so I want it to be as pleasant a place to be with the plants as possible.
hotbox_beauty You absolutely killed it. Itβs the perfect cannabis garden πͺ΄ and Iβm super jealous! Will be watching! πππΎ

Redd84 Whatβs up? Nice work. How long you been gardening?
rpeers Thanks Redd, probably done 8-10 cycles indoors over the last 15 years, tried one monster plant in a 5x5 tent, a sea of green with like 20 one footers in the same tent found that fewer plants 4-6 range is optimal for that setup as far as time (care and lifecycle). This is my first outdoor grow, grow bed is 3x8 and I didnβt want to crowd them to much so I settled on two monster plants next season I might go with three instead we will see how this goes.
