Pineapple Express Auto
September 2019
3 seedlings in 3 7 gallon cloth pots. Fox Farms Ocean soil. Seeds are from Neptune seed bank. I believe these are from fast buds, but not totally sure. Also have a onni Krumpets going. Growing outdoors from start to finish due to perfect local conditions. I had major issues on my first grow with shock, soil pH and nute burn. Using pH up and down as well as several ff nutes once the seedlings reach veg. Any tips and tricks would be appreciated.

Day: 31
LST seems to be working. The lower branch sites are finally actually...branching. Whereas before there were just no hints of growth at the nodes, there is now growth in earnest at the node sites. These seeds are kinda sus. I know people like fast buds but...honestly my two other plants are small as shit for autos.

Dukeshaba Nice man good save, why not just take the dead leaves off so she’s not wasting energy on them?
Day: 24
The plant has finally started growing again after an apparent growth arrest (probably too much damage to the leaves). New growth appears nice and normal, no nute burn. Not adding any more nutes for a while now.

Day: 20
I dunno if she’s gonna make it. Roots were in a tight ball so I carefully unpotted, loaded with perlite and repotted. Let’s see how she goes.

Day: 19
Help! I sprayed with baking soda and water because I was worried about powdery mildew. Plants come in at night due to cold temps and I woke up late and this one was a wreck. What the hell happened?? Added lady bugs today. 300 of them

Day: 14
Nute burn:(. Decided to flush the soil and test the runoff. It was super acidic. Flushed until the runoff was 6.5-7. We’ll see...

Day: 6
Minimal growth over the last 24 hours. Adjusted the water pH using soil and the water I’ve been using. Indicator from pH up/down kit showed it was 7.5 so adjusted down to 6.

Day: 5
Two of the seedlings are lagging, but one is chugging right along. Moved them into full sunlight today, will see if I regret my choices later Also I lost my lighter so I am using this 60 cc syringe. Been watering with it, since I planted directly in the final pot. I can water more precisely around the seedling and also I inject air around the seedling’s root to maximize aeration. Want to keep that soil nice and fluffy.

This one is taller, making me wonder if she’s a PE or one of the freebie seeds I got with my order...the mystery begins

Day: 4
Plant #2 is the healthiest of the three. So far one seed #3) failed due to lack of water or something...not sure. Currently growing in fox farms ocean forest soil mixed with black magic (ff is too expensive). Got two other plants running, but this one is the most...tenacious.
