Everything good so far. Accidentally left my grow lights up ~5 feet above the seedlings, you can tell the Orange Sherbet was reaching for some light. Once I brought the lights down to 24”, the vertical growth stopped and the seedling started to straighten out. The first true leaves have grown a decent amount today. The Gorilla Cookies grew about an inch. Thankfully this didn’t reach as much as the Orange Sherbet. No more helmets on any of the seedlings, so we should expect about a 1.25” growth for the other 4 seedlings. Purple Haze was moved to final pot, Gorilla Glue will be moved tomorrow. All were given about 70 mLs of water at a 6.32 pH. No nutrients, except for buffered coco. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. [All strain names are abbreviated on the Write Spike].

Day: 5

All the seeds germinated and have began sprouting. The tallest so far is Orange Sherbet at 1.2” (labeled as OS on the write spike. What appears to be yellowing on the cotyledons is just membrane from inside the seed that hasn’t fallen off yet. The humidity domes were removed for photos. 2 autos will be in Coco/Perlite and have not been planted in their final pot yet. I fucked up and didn’t buffer the coco the first time I got their bags ready.

4 of the 6 seeds have sprouted their first root. The other 2 will be kept in a damp paper towel until the sprout their first root. 4 plants are using Fox Farms Ocean Forest and 2 plants are using coco/perlite. I decided to use Fox Farms and not to use a local soil after I opened it up and it was nothing but mold. Since these are auto flowers, I personally see no reason for transplanting. I germinate the seeds and put them straight into the medium of their final pot. Some may say that another way works better, but this is just my way of doing it and I’ve literally never had a problem with it.
