Combo Grow Slh-Sc-Chl-Dp
Spring/Summer 2019
Last grow was Banana Kush, so keeping it fruity for the summer I’m going with these 3 strains 4x3 Grow Tent. 4 Led grow lights. 2400 advertised watts but actual power draw is 700 watts. 2 exhaust fans with 2 intakes. How much light they get depends on solar production outside. I’m offgrid These are Sativas so I expect to be doing topping and training My Durban Poison mother plant is growing very slow due that tri-leaf mutation. That was suppose to be part of this grow. Durban Poison clone is in the mix. I talk with such confidence it will take root. I’ve been 100% so far. It was a choice cutting.
Super Lemon Haze/Strawberry Cough/Chocolope from seed, Durban Poison from clone

Day: 107
Ending 9 weeks of flowering and decided to chop these girls down. Maybe could of gone another week but I didn’t like the foxtailing and new growth goin on some of them. Trim bud shots in this order (1st 4 pictures) Durban Poison Strawberry Cough Super Lemon Haze Chocolope The shear weight of the Durban Poison stem was incredible. I took a trimmed wet weight of that bud in the picture and it weighed 2.75oz. I usually reduce to 25% of wet weight after drying and removing stem. This was the biggest but others were not far behind. Very awesome and easy to trim. Great weed, strong unique sent to it. Not a single air bud. Rock solid stems Strawberry Cough just fell everywhere when moved out. Everything was well supported but the stems were not strong enough to hold the weight of the monster buds. This stretched about 500% or more during flowering. Trimming not so bad. Everything was rock solid. No air buds. Oh the smell once we started trimming. Strawberry, no shit. Strong strawberry. Sissor hash....strawberries. It easily overwhelmed the Durban quick once we opened her up Super Lemon Haze. This one too couldn’t support its own weight. If I had a disappointment this grow this was it, but I can’t complain. This plant didn’t get as far and tight as others but grew long. Buts are nice no doubt. No air buds here. All were solid. The smell....Lemon, not as strong as the other 2 but it was there and I. The scissor hash. Chocolope. This was the next day. Very strong stems, no leaning here. Buds were heavy and hard. Reminding me of some chocolate dessert with an earthy smell. Found a few air buds down low but this one was bigger than I thought. Trimming was a little harder and slower on this one. Yup I love my scissor hash as I go. Roots were well established and healthy with lots of space this time around. 5gal buckets work way better Few more pictures of my keif extraction Got between 3-4gm of keif from each plant smoking a lot as I go too. Yup! 🤗 each so unique in its smells, but everyone a wake-n-bake all day keep you going stuff. Took a bowl of northern lights to wind me down last night after a whole day of smoking this keif. Dry totals to come

Cindy I loose about 50% weight drying. These look like they will produce some yummies! Beautiful!
Cindy And my Super lemon haze toppled and needed supports. I attributed this to making better buds 😂 my first batch were airy and it wasn’t a problem. SLH been in dark for 2 days so pulling her tonight to trim. Hope she looks half as good as yours!
Robibus Yeah with all the stem I lose that much. Btw don’t fear Strawberry Cough. It just dried with no cure yet and not bad at all. You do feel it but with cure it only gets better. Can’t wait to see your lemon. Maybe I’ll try mine tomorrow. Yesterday was Durban, today Strawberry.

Day: 104
Week 8 Day 5 of flowering 10 hours of reduced light seemed to help with the new pistil growth a little. Still got new growth out the sides. Not use to growing such Sativa dominate strains, but I don’t like side growth like this. They had 2 flushes now with flawless finish, nothing left in that soil, runoff is about 50ppm. My RO water going in is 12ppm. Think it’s getting real close to chopping these girls. They only get 10 hours of my 300 watt(150w from wall) and 100w from wall of deep red boosters. They usually get about 500w from the wall of LED. Dropped daytime temps to barely 70 with night going to 59. Trying hard to only ripen these nugs Took the picture just before lights on this morning. So much better with white light taking pictures Bud shots in order Rear L - Chocolope Front L - Durban Poison Rear R - Strawberry Cough Front R - Super Lemon Haze

Thisguysgrow Absolutely great job
Day: 100
Start of week 9 of flowering Started flushing, (couple days ago) Reduced light timing to 14/10 Also reduced amount of full spectrum light Continuing with red LED boosters Daytime temp 73 Nighttime temp 60 (cold as I can get it, usually shoot for 58-59) Girls looking very nice, super solid compact buds. Noticed some foxtailing of new pistils on the Chocolope, SLH, and SC, which is why I went to the 14/10, and reduced lighting. Trichomes are cloudy with about 20% clear. Flushing done with Flawless Finish by AD. All RO water from now till finish, which could be anytime now. Smelling great but the Durban Poison is dominate, which is heavenly. Last 4 bud shots in order.... Far left - Chocolope Front Left - Durban Poison Far right - Strawberry Cough Front right - super Lemon Haze

CBD These aren’t autos right? They are looking really nice! I want fat buds like these girls!!! But my light isn’t going to make that happen I don’t think (600w Phlizon) Btw thanks for the feedback! I hope I answered your questions in my post.
Robibus These are not autos. I have done some and I prefer the Feminized seeds. Nothing wrong with autos, they produce also. Np happy tonshare my advice and experience here. I still learn myself
Day: 92
Beginning week 8 for flowering Buds are swelling and getting heavy. Strawberry Cough and especially the lemon haze are leaning all over. I been supporting the branches. First grow I ever had to do the but they are Sativas. Durban and Chocolope are very solid and strong. The smells? Yeah... 🤩 Moving to a 11/13 schedule. Last week I was on a 11.5/12.5. Still 1-2 weeks out. Might do one more feeding for the Durban then flush. Bud shot order....(last 4 photos) Chocolope Durban Poison Strawberry Cough Super Lemon Haze

Day: 78
Beginning week 6 of Flower Left back - Chocolope Right back - Strawberry Cough Front left - Durban Poison Front right - Super Lemon Haze Moved plants around a little. Durban looks like it might be first. Getting excited, smells are starting to develop. Durban and Strawberry smelling real good. Hell they all smell good. Durban is the runt of the Group. Came from a clone and didn’t have a whole lot of veg time Slowly removing bigger fan leaves as the get in the way. No issues, feeding as normal. 1 gal per plant every 3-4 days with about 10-20% runoff. Low 40s humidity with 75 daytime temp, 64 night Individual shots of buds are in the plant order of list above

Cindy Nice buds!! My temp runs 10 degrees hotter (it’s summer) and I’ve been getting fluff :( holding off more in flower until temps cool. Also going to completely clean flower area cause of mites before starting again. Impressive grow! ❤️
Cindy Holy heck. Just looked at your watering... I do a gallon in am and a gallon in pm! Have you tried blackstrap molasses? I’m attempting that now :)
Robibus I’m using 5 gal pots with pro bx(peat and perlite). I add about 50% perlite to that. I love using the medium. Easy to tell when to water and sucks it right up instantly. I dunno why your buds would be like that. 85 is a bit warm for flowering, but still should make some nice buds. Tasted a bud off the Durban Poison mother plant which is 3 weeks ahead of mine(buddy is growing it). Amazing taste, amazing high. Wake n Bake King. I can’t wait.

Flower: Day 28 Durban Poison: back left Strawberry Cough: back right Chocolope: front left Super Lemon Haz: fronti right Just completed the 4th week of flower. Very pleased. Humidity sitting low 40s. I’m happy with that. Running daytime temps 75 and night time 64 Meanwhile a legal bull appeared 50yards from my backdoor. Hunting season is soon!

Day: 66
Flower: Day 22 Girls growing nicely. Don’t look like it but I cut off quite a bit. Mostly down low, clearing out the small buds, and thinking out up top. Nowhere near my last grow. All 4 of these are sativa’s so they are thinner by nature. Strawberry Cough (back right)is massive. All others are elevated up to the same level. Next biggest is the Chocolope(front left). Lemon Haze is front right. Durban Poison is back left, the smallest but it’s from clone and started late. Lights are all the way to the top of the tent so hope these ladies stop stretching Humidity back under control. New fan and keeping dehumidifier keeping the basement low. Still venting outside. Avg 42% humidity with 75 degrees.

Cindy Do you find cutting like this causes it to stress out and causing seeds? I thought the major defoliation might have caused my stress/seeds.
Robibus Last time I had one plant that looked bad for a few days from cutting too much I think. I never had one herm on me. My conditions were ideal though, which is why maybe it didn’t. Still, I agree with the agreement against major defoliation being the plant needs leaves to make energy. I’ll still lollipop it though, if your in a small tent like me only light is on the canopy
Cindy Wouldn’t you *major* defoliate before putting in flower though - and not while in?

Day: 59
Day 16 of flowering Plants doing very well. The stretch has been crazy. Everything doubled or tripled in size in 2 week. Did some pruning today and removing of air buds and lower ones. Humidity has been a major issue. With 60-99% outside it’s been bad inside. Had to retrofit my dehumidifier. Now it’s at high 30% at 77 degrees

Day: 44
Flower Day 1 Yup decided just to flower these. Odd grow, they are very short. Probably too much light. New flowering lights. In addition to the 1500watt full spectrum LED(300watt from the wall) I got a total of another 112watts from the wall of pure red LEDs. Never used the red LEDs Plants are doing great. Another nice canopy forming. Probably can’t tell from last update cause they were growing so fast, I did a good pruning today and some lollipoping. Nothing like last grow.

Day: 39
Been a while since I updated, or even checked here. I been busy, Alaska summers are short and lots to do. If only my back could take advantage of the 23 hours of light we have. Nothing major going on, just veg growing. They all got topped once and a little low stress training. Strawberry Cough is the monster, it only has a once day start over the other 2. Small one is the Durban Poison clone.

Day: 26
Ok. Girls have a new home. All transplanted to 5 gal containers. All doing very well. Just letting them grow a little. All have been topped except the Durban Poison clone who is a little behind
6 years ago
ClandestineWestOz Looking good here mate, they’ll love their new home.
Cindy Did they take to new pots well? Bet they did! Looking good!
Day: 15
Well they are growing working on 5th node, 4th on the smaller. Light is up to 90% white CoD and blues at about 16” Trying to keep temp up in the freezer cause I trying hard right now to keep my basement at 60 degrees so my flowering plants don’t get too warm right next door in a tent Keeping temp in the low 80s cause I’m using a CO2 bag(not worth it, IMO). However in a closed off area that’s so small and being a chest freezer where the CO2 falls it might actually give off some CO2 for the plants. They are also on a 24 hour lights. Mainly for the clone and to keep constant warm temps in there. Popped off the dome on the Durban Poison, she was dropping last couple days but now has perked up. Hoping cause it’s roots took hold. Seeing how she does

Cindy Light doesn’t generate enough heat? I have a super large CFL over mine and it heats the clone tent (4x2x4) to 80.
Robibus LEDs don’t put out that much heat. Since I’m not using the reds, and still not at full power on the other at 90% it’s not putting off much. I got the light set up where the fan on the light is running slow sucking outside air and putting it inside. The issue is my basement is 61 and I want to get it colder but it won’t. Weird since it’s 40s outside The clone looks rough, but after a week I think it might make it Now my other grow has to finish up. I’m ready to serve the 1 week eviction notice on tent real estate
Cindy Open a window? 😆 Insulate between house and basement? Only things I can think of to lower temp without an AC. Off to water my flowers! Have a wonderful day.

Day: 8
I moved them Down to my chest freezer that I am not using. Insulated and reflective surface. My basement is dry 35% humidity so I added a bigger water tray under the individual pot saucers so the plants won’t take in the water. Worked awesome till I had to then up the lamp and open the space a little. So I added a rag hanging out of a container of water near the small fan. Now I’m back over 50% humidity. Not ideal but good enough As you see I had a little issue with discoloring of the leaves. So like an idiot I took my CO2 bag that was useless in my other grow area and put it in here with the seedlings(seemed like a good idea) Maybe levels got too high in there because co2 falls. Could be that, or this light on Veg mode only, or the light too bright. It’s not soil related, can’t be. I gave it a first dose of nutrients, half of what’s recommended at this stage...but that was after this happened. Still need to give them a good run off feeding. I been waiting for the soil to dry out a little more So CO2 bag is out, backed the light off a bit to 18”. Started using the red LEDs like I always done. They do help a little even in veg I read. Thinking about a shot of cal/mag or even a little as foliage spray. Just dunno what caused it. And the very last picture is my 4th plant in this grow. Hello Durban Poison. It’s a clone and got put under humidity dome after the picture. Unlike its mother it’s not giving off tri-leafs anymore
6 years ago
Robibus Well pretty sure it was light burn. I wouldn’t think it would of done that so far away. Probably turned it up full too early. First time playing with the CoD led light. Guessing the reflective surface worked too well.
Cindy Looking great. Waaaay more technical than my clone tent with a shop light. Haha. I don’t worry too much because I have no money invested in a clone (and strangely ALL my clones take...) I leave them IN the tray of water with super weak lighting. I want roots. Then they go to normal veg. 😆 Can’t wait to see these babies grow.
Day: 2
I adjusting the start date to get more of an average. Actual age is the lemon haze. StrawberryCough is a day older and the Chocolope is a day younger. Gave them a week dose of Voodoo Juice and B52. I’ll wait till I see the 2nd set of leaves before I give base Nutes All are doing well and will go to weekly updates. My Banana Kush better be done in 3 weeks. These suckers wanna grow. Chocolope seed sprouted in one day direct germination in soil. Others were 2 days. ILGM seeds. Had great lunch with their seeds The ChocoDope. It decided not to turn its tap root down. It was growing its tap root straight up 1/4” above the soil. Total tap root was almost an inch. Did a risky move and dug it up gently and turned it around. It pushed right up few hours later Unsure of this CoD led light I’m using, so I’m keeping the power down on it. However it on pure veg mode with reds turned off What’s awesome about this veg stage is a almost forgot about my other ladies. They have gotten so fat!
ClandestineWestOz I swear by ILGM, great genetics and their stock is fresh, not stored and sold off to other seed banks. I had all 15 seeds germinate in under 24 hours. I’ll never use another seed bank EVER.
Anakin87 Just wanna know. How far between the light and plants?
Robibus Had great lunch? Lol I love auto correct. I meant I had great luck with their seeds. I had one cracked seed in a bag, they sent me another 5. Great customer service. As the the light, it was a freebee so cant complain. It one of those over exaggerated 1000watt LEDs. Actual use 114watts. CoD main led for Veg and reds for flower. Just using the white CoD it draws 53 watts at full power. I’m keeping it at 35 watts now at 18” above the tallest leaf. Once they get a tiny bit bigger I’ll increase the light. Not using the flower red LEDs at all. I included a picture of my seedling box I use. Humidity is a bit down this morning, that’s why the water tray is there.

Day: 1
Hello baby girls and welcome to this world!! Ok, both have now popped up. The Lemon haze broke its seed and popped up sometime last night. Strawberry is looking good I’m shocked both these Sativa dominate strains both germinated in 2 days I decided to add a Chocolope to the grow, then maybe a Durban Poison clone in the next week or two( I hope, mother plant is too small now) I can get 6 plants in this tent, but it crowded and so much easier to work with 4

Awaiting new life.

Cindy Super lemon haze is a phenomenal strain for day use. Little long in flowering (9-10 weeks) but worth it to me for effects. I have 2 - one in veg and the other I will be getting ready to flower for Monday. I’ve heard wonderful things about SC too! Great choices! I find the fruity ones good for days and still functioning. 😆
Robibus Yes I do love super lemon haze. First time growing this strain. 9-10 weeks flower? Well worth the wait I’m sure. Strawberry, Lemon, and my Banana Kush is finishing up in a few weeks. Durban Poison is another one great for daytime use. Gave my friend a seed to grow it with the intentions of getting a clone. It turned out being a tri-leaf seed and growing slow. But I will most likely add 1-2 Durban Poisons to this grow too
Cindy I don’t know much about leaf growth or what that all means... still new to this. But even my 7 yr old, who popped his head downstairs to tell me he was done his chore, said some of them grow like trees and other bushes. I had to laugh.
