Lightly watered the plant and watched it grow!

I knew this day it had to go into a cup of dirt. I lightly filled the cup with dirt. I had found the dirt in a pot that had no plants growing inside of it. I cleaned the dirt by picking out the large twigs and making sure there were no bugs in it. Then I created a divot half an inch in the middle of the cup. Next I placed the seed in the divot with the root down and lightly covered it with soil. Finally I watered it lightly with bottled water and left it by the windowsill.

Checked it to see how far it got, I was surprised to see this!

After 24 hours, I damped the paper towel with the water the seed was in, the carefully placed the seed in it and folded the paper towel over. Then I put the paper towel with the seed in it into a ziplock bag. I left it out in the open.

Picked out 1 seed of many, I put it into a cup with bottled water. I let it sit for 24 hours to get hydrated.
