Gary Payton and Z Crasherd using an arduino and moisture sensor to feed. Trained them yesterday. Using them as mothers to take clones to flower.

I’m on the fence again weather to keep her or let her go.

Not happy with the growth. I cut some clones of a Reba I’d like to try out. Going to grow that instead. Need to cut my losses.

They’re growing but rockwool developed dry patches in certain sections I can’t yet explain.

ajam_fam Plants looking a little thin.
j.nug I agree they’ve taken a turn for the worst but the first level of the tent is doing much better. Same plants same set up, differences are this picture got vegged 1 week longer and the light is 150watts more powerful and runs hotter. Thinking the heat is what turned on it. I’ll post a pic of the best nug on the bottom tent.

Before and after doing a Castile soap and alcohol mix spray. The nozzle gunks up so I have to clean it after use. I’ve been dealing with powdery mildew, this being the fourth grow affected. My growmie said to stay on top of it using the remedy daily and defoliating keeping the air circulating. I’ve been using an air purifier but it keeps popping up. This is a closet grow and there’s a rug near the tent. Every cycle I do my best to disinfect everything but keeps popping up. Even got a dehumidifier keeping the zone at 60% humidity. I’m sure everything does a little to help. I’ll just stay on top of it every day.

@eaegifts I’ve used Southern AG in the past and now Arber from Walmart. I don’t use intake or exhaust in my veg tents but have been able to avoid mold. Do you use the same res from previous grows?
j.nug It’s a new res. It’s a cooler to keep the chilled water cold longer. I run UC Roots and sometimes I use hydrogen peroxide to avoid root rot. Roots look ok.

Did a defoliation and switched nutrients yesterday and she loves it. The stems are turning green and she’s perky. Roots are growing. Cut two clones off it as well for a fogponic 15 clone sea of green.

I might switch up the nutrients to something simpler. I was using the How Weed Grow recipe and I started high, went low, then back up. Currently i have some burnt spots from the nutrients is my guess. Changing out the Rez today. RO water and GH Powder Grow nutrients. It’s been 32 days and I thought I would be much further ahead but I’m used to being lost at this point since my last 3 runs were lacking. My cut of Strawnana was light weight but great smoke. Banana God was lacking but made 6 grams of hash which was nice to have something to show for a struggling plant. And the third run that was lacking was king kush. Didn’t pack weight and gave me trouble. I wish plants had an OBD 2 port like cars lol

@eaegifts Bend all the branches down and hold them for a week or two to bush her out more. Your yield will be based on size before flip, pot size, feed and very importantly light strength 👍🏾
@eaegifts Also you sh get a saucer if you don’t have one already and keep her elevated as not to sit in runoff water or the floor
j.nug Thank you @eaegifts. I will bend the branches down for sure. This is hydro ebb and flow hybrid system not soil and pot so no where to put the saucer below

Day: 30
Vegetating
Snipped a couple of drying/dying leaves. I noticed some burn spots. I’ve been battling how much food to give her. She’s been drinking up what I give her. Lessened the interval times for feeding. Would have liked to be further along after six days but I will continue on. Nutrient reservoir being an igloo cooler has really helped maintain the water at 68 degrees. It does look a lot perkier and happy that last post :)

Looks healthy except for a brown spot on one leaf. Sprang a leak not sure how. Filters are working well to remove particles in water. She drank around half to one quart today and drank all 180ppm in it.

190ppm 6.1ph I’m getting a lot of small particles. Ordered a filter yesterday to try and combat that.

She has purple stems. I think I over fed her at 500ppm. Got her down to 150ppm since two weeks ago. I’ve been PH balancing every day. Larger leafs were nutrient burned. I got a water heater and a tent heater to mitigate cold over night temps. She looks healthy but has been growing slow and don’t know what to attribute the purple stems to.

ganjasaur3 Aeroponic?
j.nug It’s a system that weighs a rockwool cube to identify moisture content and distribute it to the plants through wicks. 1 gram = 1 mil.
ganjasaur3 Interesting… so fully automated?
