Mystrain420 Nice 👍🏾
Day: 87
Another flush today. Will continue flushing every 5 days or so for the next two maybe three weeks and they should be done
5 years ago
Day: 86
Definitely going to defoliate earlier next run those lower bud sites got robbed. Valuable lesson learned. Probably got a good 3 weeks tho to fatten up a bit.
Day: 85
going to do another flush tomorrow should have things back in balance . I defoliated a little bit on a few plants so lower buds could get some love too. Obviously a little late on this but better late than never
5 years ago
Day: 83
think I figured out the issue with the one, it’s soil pH is like 4.7 .. jeez. Going to water with 7.0-7.5 to bring it back up as I continue to flush. They’re about 3 weeks from harvest and I want a clean smoke so I’m going to cut the nutrients.
Day: 82
None of the trichs are amber I keep checking with a loupe I wonder how long they have left, going on week 8 flower.
Roliverhd Are you flushing ?
Caliboy423 Yeah I found out that one has a soil ph of 5 so I need to flush again with like 7.0 water a couple times and bring it up
Day: 80
Sorry I was extremely sick missed quite a bit. Flushed all of them today, a few got burned from the last feed or maybe just got lockout then some type of deficiency . So either way needed a good flush.
Day: 75
The weird one has some deficiency idk. Or maybe it’s burn? I just gave them all food today and it got worse so maybe it’s that? Then again it started after the flush last week so I thought deficiency . Idk. It has less than a month to go I think so I’m not too worried, they’ll all stop getting food after 1 or 2 more weeks feedings I think to prepare for flush and harvest.

Day: 69
Missed it here it is
Day: 68
Noticing some of the long white hairs getting orange, and checked the trichs today getting cloudy but still not done my guess is 4-6 weeks left. Today would mark week 5 of flower (I learned flower starts when you switch to 12-12 not when you first see buds) so they’re probably around halfway through flower, meaning the buds still have 50-75% of their growing to do. If anyone wants to chime in with tips or guesses on how much more growth the buds will see feel free.
Dukeshaba I’d be surprised if they are half way yet. When you don’t have the good lights and the environment right they take longer. My first one ran 12 weeks for about 20% amber
Day: 67
Buds seem to be swelling up a bit which is nice. Heard they really blow up towards the end and I’m looking forward to that

All plants have shown female! Awesome
Dukeshaba Where do you see female?
Dukeshaba Sorry to pop your bubble man but if your talking about your pictures I’d say those are leaves growing.... 30 something days is quick for an auto flower to be shooting pistols
Caliboy423 Zoom in man you can literally see 2 pistols and even trichomes starting to develop on the leaves . And you can make a weed plant flower whenever you want just by flipping the schedule. My friend made a 18 day old plant flower just for the hell of it.

Day: 33
Switched to 12 12 last night so second night of the new cycle tonight.
Dukeshaba You flipped already???
Caliboy423 Yeah they can gain 25-75% extra size by the time they’re done and the plants are already bumping into each other and covering each other.. it’s just a really small grow area so I can’t grow huge plants.
Caliboy423 Only the big ones btw the smaller ones stay in the room 24 7
Day: 32
More growth about to switch to 12 12 for the bigger ones

Day: 29
Going good!
Day: 27
Looking good. Have multiple ties on some plants now, just trying to control the height while I can with some LST.. they’re really starting to grow.
Dukeshaba Yea man some look huge
Day: 26
More growth every day
Day: 25
These things are going to be a lot of work. Blowing up in growth lately. I’ll keep these short and sweet assume humidity is usually 50-65% and temp is 75-79F unless I mention some issues.
Dukeshaba They are looking good man the Mylar helped a little is seems. If and when you can try to add a light maybe or your closest is definitely big enough for a tent. Little things here and there help a lot
Caliboy423 I’ve already got 2 of the 1000w LED. Lol. They aren’t stretching or anything so I think they’re getting plenty of light :) thanks though man there’s def room for improvement
Graveyard9 Looking great man. And yes more (better) lights in the future will really help. (FYI your lights are actually 180 watt not 1000).
Day: 24
Things still looking great! Hard to keep up with them now, they’re blowing up. Gotta keep readjusting strings and moving leaves.
Day: 23
Plants are responding well to topping and LST, as well as the nutrients rh: 60-65% temp: 78 Red is the oldest, bday cake. Yellow is a week younger, some unknown stuff but it was bomb Blue is entirely random bagseed if you will and is 10 days younger than red 3 days younger than yellow
5 years ago
Day: 22
Everything is looking good. I threw those last two cups into a random bucket with some trash miracle grow I had laying around, rather have a couple really small plants to spare than throw them away . It’s tough to constantly control humidity and temp especially with the weather changing so much. All the other ones are LST now and they’re really enjoying it. Gotta readjust the strings daily RH: 60% temp: 74F
5 years ago
Day: 21
The oldest ones that got LST are getting huge and starting to get some really nice growth underneath (internode I think it’s called). Getting some really nice bends with the LST, also the topping I did is growing back nicely The more recently potted are starting to take off as well, also starting to get some growth underneath. Little colder in the room today but not too cold 73f, 65% rh
5 years ago
Day: 20
Looking good, not sure if I mentioned but yesterday the two closest white buckets in the right, the two biggest, got topped. Today I incorporated a little LST for the three closest white buckets. They also got food today! Big bloom grow big and calmag . Moved two cup plants into some random miracle grow I gave chilling, cause I’ll probably end up tossing the cups soon. Temp: 77 Relative humidity: 65 pH: (6.5 for food today)
Dukeshaba 👍🏻
Day: 19
They’re really taking off. It’s like 15-16 days since the biggest 3 (closest three buckets) popped out of the soil. 11 days or so for the rest. Mylar is in now instead of foil. Reflection seems about the same i guess it’s just way less ghetto looking and less sound from moving round. The biggest one (middle bucket closest to right wall) got topped . These things are really bushing out, no stretch cause they have plenty of light. Can’t wait to see more progress
5 years ago
Day: 18
My RH/temp sensor came in. My room was 80F and 35% RH... I read that seedlings through veg they like 45-65%RH and 70-80F. So my room was way too dry and pretty hot.. after running a warm steam vaporizer the room is now between 55-65 % RH at all times!! Temp is 78. Plants looking great especially the bucket ones. Mylar coming in today to replace foil. I have really came a long way and have learned a lot already. My plants were getting 8.5pH from my sink, which I’ve corrected they all get 6.0-6.5 water now. The humidity and temp were wrong too. Three huge things to the plant that I figured weren’t perfect but probably weren’t that bad were actually pretty bad. I’ve improved the conditions for my plant so much, the only thing I could really add to my toolbox is probably a ppm tester. Besides that though this went from a kind of jank amazon grow light closet grow to somewhat of a budget smart grow, climate control and all. Obviously my setup is child’s play to pros, but I’ve personally come a long way and I’m excited to keep learning! Age: 19 days since sow 15 since sprout for the closest 3 buckets. A week younger for everything else in the room. Rh: 55-60% temp: 25.5-26 (78-79F) pH : 6.0-6.5
5 years ago
Day: 17
More growth looking good. Mylar blankets on the way to replace foil RH: 45% Temp: 25.8 (78F)
Day: 16
More plants moved to buckets, cups moved to bucket level so I don’t need the lights at 2 different heights. They’re looking good I think?
Dukeshaba Get Mylar blankets off amazon man they come like 5x8 ft 10 for like 15$ instead of tinfoil
Caliboy423 I’ll look into that thanks man:)
Caliboy423 Just ordered some haha
Day: 15
Love watching the 3bday cake make growth each day, I can come back after several hours and notice small growths! It’s really exciting. A few in the cups are starting to look really good I’ll switch those over tomorrow !
Day: 14
Two weeks since we put our first 3 germinated seeds into soil filled cups! Those 3 birthday cake (in buckets) are the biggest so far. The ones in cups are slowly getting bigger and will be soon in a couple days to move to buckets I’d say. Been about 5 days since water still looking good.
Day: 13
Day 13, more growth! Really haven’t done anything in the last few days. Don’t think they need water yet and none are showing me any bad signs besides one that’s basically laying down in the cup, but I have so many in those cups and am only picking 3 or 4 more to go to buckets so I’m not too worried. Just sitting back and watching the beginning growth stages.
Day: 12
Got the 3 bday cake into 5 gallon buckets, the others are all still chilling in the cups for now. The roots were incredibly large for the size of these plants I couldn’t believe it. Honestly will need to switch the ones in the cups within a week. So far so good, the one that was yellow and curling in the cup has recovered. None of the others are showing me any visible signs of stress
5 years ago
Day: 11
Day11 seeing more growth and looking good, seems like the plant that started going yellow and curling will make it. 3 days since the food and water, and the soil is still somewhat moist so I won’t water until it dries up more. Super excited to finally give the plants pH balanced water but I don’t want to jump the gun and overwater them. The newer 4 sprouts are also doing good!
RightMan Good luck! The plants are resilient - once you get out of seedling stage, you’ll really be able to experiment with different pruning techniques and the plants are much more forgiving.
Day: 10
Day10 plants are looking bigger growth seems to be speeding up. One however is curled up and yellow which I think is either nitrogen poisoning or calmag deficiency? Any pros chime in? Didn’t get a pic of the newer 4 btw, they’re doing good tho and will get a pic of those tomorrow. 2 days since their last feed/watering and today my pH up down kit came in. I tested my tap water that I use for regular feeding as well as the feeding that mixed up. Both tested 8.0-8.5pH .. wow! Brought it down to between 6-6.5, can get a more accurate reading when the digital tester comes in. Should see a big difference with pH balanced food and water! Balanced out a gallon of each for future use For anyone following the 3 bday cake are 10 days, the 3 next to them are 6 days. The 4 I didn’t take pics of today are 3 days.
Day: 9
Day9 update, one of the bday cake is starting 3rd pair true leaves, the others are still on 2nd. The 3 random ones with them seem to be doing well, the 4 newer sprouts also looking good. Seems they responded to the feeding well maybe next time I’ll do the full dose.
Day: 8
The soil on all cups was dry past the first inch so I decided to feed and give them all a half dose of fox farms big bloom (half a tablespoon for a gallon instead of a whole tablespoon that’s recommended for seedlings) just to make sure they all react well to it. The bday cake are working on their 2nd pair of leaves, and there’s one that still hasn’t opened, odd! The mystery 4 are all sprouted and look ready to grow!
Fishpaste Good luck on your first grow! Make sure to ph your water if you haven’t already, also air circulation in your grow is a must. Happy growing.
Caliboy423 Thanks I have a fan in there but might need another? Also got pH tester on the way
Fishpaste Cool, proper ph is a must, will save you a lot the headaches. Also cal mag 😁

Day: 7
Day 8 (day 7 on here since it starts at day 0) since planting, looking good. Switched from Veg mode on the LED to Veg+bloom, a lot of growers who used led agreed more light is better and it didn’t like burn the plants or anything so I say the more the merrier. Not much action in the cups I just added yesterday, here’s the 3 bday cake (front row of 3) and the “mystery” from my friend in the back. Bday cake is day8 since planting germed seeds, mystery is day 4 since planting germed seeds.Close up shot of one of the bday cake

Ballpokkati420 Look good 👍🏼
Graveyard9 Looking good.
Day: 6
Day 6! Since this app starts day 0, It’s been a whole week since I buried those germed bday cake seeds into the cups and began this journal. (This is day 2, day 3 if you don’t do the day 0 thing, for the “mystery” seeds all of which are the same strain just not sure on the name) the first two bday sprouts still going strong, third is still standing maybe it will open up soon? As for the mystery stuff that first one that was withering is definitely gone. The second one however is already as tall as the bday sprouts and it’s only been sprouted 2 days, as it continues to work on some true leaves. The last “mystery” one is like the last bday cake, the seed fell off but the leaves still haven’t opened. However unlike the first one they didn’t die, they’re still standing on their own and appear to be getting ready to open up the cotelydon. Also have two new strains joining the experiment, one of which will be making its debut to the room tomorrow ! Stay tuned Edit: added a few more of some completely random “bagseed” if you will.
Day: 5
Day 6 since planting the 3 bday cake seeds, day 2 since planting the “mystery” seeds. Okay so the first two bday cake sprouts doing good. Last one (the weird crusty one) is still behind but is now standing on its own. As for the new stuff, the first one looks as if it’s just shriveling up to die. Seemed like after it popped thru the soil it just died. Maybe it will start standing though? the second one has sprouted overnight and is looking good so far! And the last one looks just like the last bday cake; Came out weird and crusty and is taking a while to open the baby leaves but is standing on its own and getting bigger! Overall I’d say I have 3 super healthy sprouts at this point, 2 late bloomers that I think will be okay, and one that will probably die. Stay posted!
Day: 4
Day 4 since planting the seeds! (Day 3 since sprouting) All 3 of the bday cake sprouted, the last one finally did today but it looks weird and crusty though lol. Still waiting on the new 3 to push through. Seeing noticeable growth between the beginning and end of the day with the sprouts.
Dukeshaba Nice man👍🏻. Don’t over water them lol
Day: 3
Two nice sprouts hanging out, working on their true leaves! Still waiting on the third to fully push through the soil. Also added in 3 random seeds I got from my friends plant, it was some really good genetics so we will see how those turn out (bday cake are the 3 on the left, mystery is 3 on the right)
Day: 2
Seedlings sprouted and ditched their seed casings
5 years ago
Day: 1
Halfway through day 1 and one of the germed seeds is already pushing through the soil, awesome! Can’t wait to see the others pop up. Also germing some unknown seeds that came from a close friends beautiful unknown plant. Those might go in the other room, not sure yet. All the cups have been wrapped with tape to keep the roots from seeing any light in the event the roots somehow got that big before I transplanted them
5 years ago
Dukeshaba You definitely want them to have a good root system before you transplant so that definitely was smart
Caliboy423 Good to know lol could you explain why? Is it to like not shock the plant while it’s too young or something?
Day: 0
Seeds were germinated with roots beginning to sprout from the seed. Put them in some small cups to start. They will be transferred to 5gal buckets when bigger. 1000w full spectrum led set to Veg. Happy frog soil . First time so comments along the way are appreciated.
Dukeshaba Watch to make sure you don’t over water your babies dude has the biggest thing ppl do
Caliboy423 Thanks haha I appreciate it yeah I won’t water until the first inch of soil is completely dry or at least I heard that’s rule of thumb
Graveyard9 Everyone will have different opinions. Most important Thing in the beginning is to not overwater. As for transplanting. I would highly recommend grow bags not pots. The fabric bags help the roots get oxygen and not become root bound. I even use starter grow bags instead of pots or solo cups and the grow bags are even cheaper than solo cups. And no transplanting. Just but the starter grow bag in the soil.
