LeChron James I’ve got wedding cookies going right now too! It’s my first run of it, but the cut I got is extremely vigorous and vibrant. Yours looks great too.

SparkDasher That looks really dry and naked

organic_grower

organic_grower 🤔 Why are you taking all the leaves off ?

xuzen This plant still has another month or two of veg until my main tent is ready so I figured this would help slow growth so it doesn’t over veg

Day: 38

Tips are getting yellow. Not sure why. Maybe light burn? Maybe? Ph is fine and other two photo plants are fine. Lightly watered

LeChron James

LeChron James Are you feeding any liquid nutrients? When I see very green plants with yellow tips I think nutrient burn. Could also be that they’re getting a touch too much light/heat. The newest foliage seems to be most affected, so if you just recently increased nutes back off and flush the pot on the next watering. If not, try raising the light.

Drizz Nice plant

Day: 36

Should’ve let it grow more. Seems to be stunted from the topping. Also tips are getting yellow. Maybe light burn? Ph is fine. Haven’t been overwatering either

LeChron James

LeChron James Topping it this young stressed it. Give it time. Hopefully it bounces back. Make sure not to water it till it’s thirsty

Day: 33

Topped again. The 4 future main nodes are super small but they’re there. Hopefully this will let other branches grow up and form an even canopy. Gave 1/4 cup of dr earth tomato/herb fert with 1/2 worm castings as top dressing. Then watered lightly. Tried to not overdo it since pot wasn’t light yet

mushadog

mushadog IMO you’re cutting too early.

xuzen @lechron James when should I be cutting? It’s my first grow so I appreciate all the help and feedback I can get!

LeChron James

LeChron James Best practice is to not cut at all until about 3-5 days before you flip it to flower. At that point, take a couple of cuttings (if you plan to keep growing the pheno) and level out the plant. By then, most of the mid and some of the lower laterals will have grown tall enough to be included in your canopy. Top the plant, of course, and don’t be afraid at that point to top off more than the top node. If cutting down to the second node from the top gets you an overall nice canopy, do so. By cutting on the plant this young you’re limiting it’s potential. It needs that foliage at this stage to develop nice roots and grow. The only thing I would ever cut at this stage would be the lowest foliage, and even that is only to make sure the foliage is up off the soil.

Day: 20

Bottom leaves are yellowing. I think it was hungry so I transplanted into final pot with nutrients. Will continue top feeding from here on out Update: almost 100% certain it was wind burn. I had a fan directly next to plants. I moved it to the top of the plant. Will see how it recovers.
