This is the second seed that was difficult to germinate. The bean was soaked for more than 60 hours. The bean exhibited signs of germination, but never produced a visible tap root. This seed swelled and you could determine which direction to plant the seed by the white on one end and the green on the other. I prepared a location for the bean to plant. The bean was placed on the soil bed and lightly covered with the grow material. She first broke the soil surface, but came up a “helmet head.” The husk came off after a day and she has come to life
