seriousjamie I gave up on that whole lowering light so long ago. I just bury them deep when I repot them lol. I tell all my grower people to do the same. I find that some strains just like to stretch especially the sativas.

. I messed up with light placement recently on my Humboldt grows due to having big plants in the tent and ended up needing to support a plant on day 8, after lowering lights growth sped up and by day 13 they were looking like how my plants normally look on day 10. For me it’s more about not wasting grow time or space I guess. I often leave space to add more substrate in case they start off lanky and plant 1/2” deep because I want no more than 48hrs to sprout and keep the lights @18” then move up or down from there depending on growth.
