Jimbo Norman Yeeaah this one was a freebie so didn’t know what to expect. It’s only been a week of flower so still a ways to go but I’m not expecting a big yield at this point. I grow organic with top dressing nutrients and haven’t honestly figured out how to accelerate growth starting on day 1 the way I see other folks do with salt-based nutrients (obviously some of this is due to genetics as well). I’ve been moving away from autos as a result since I’m still trying to dial in variables and process and I need time to make mistakes. Autos are just so unforgiving.

OHIGHOGrows I like to keep my lights static not dynamic. Meaning I keep them at the same distance and intensity. Not moving the light or turning it up. As they grow they move into the higher PPFD. More like nature’s intention. As they start to flower the natural stretching takes them up to the 600-700 range they want. Again, just what I do. Seedlings like 100-200 so that’s what I like my PPFD at soil level. 400-500 veg 600-700ish for flower. As they grow they move into the comfort zones. Just be careful not to change too much too fast, don’t want to cause unnecessary stress, especially with autos, no time to really recover. If you bump it up do it for an hour or two a day before turning it up permanently. (As long as you’re not moving light closer causing leaf temps to rise too much, heat stress)
