Day: 86
Chop chop! Had to do it tonight, but they were ready I believe. Such and exciting and fulfilling moment cutting these down and putting them in the drying tent. I’ll keep everyone updated but thank you to everyone who has commented and helped me in any way.

MarimamaJuanita Make sure they dry out good, I had bought weed the other day and it was a huuuge nug but it felt like it was wet it wasn’t dry like weed should be and it had mold on the inside
Day: 85
Final night. Getting the chop tomorrow! I’m so excited but I know the real work is about to start. One plant is pretty much ready, the other one I’m rushing by a couple days but I’m on a time crunch with vacation so I have to. First grow so I’m doing better than I even imagined.
lation1984 Hell yeah 😎
Day: 83
They look ready but once again the trichomes are telling me otherwise! I’m on a time crunch right now because I leave for a week in two weeks with my wife and kids for spring break so I really need these girls to hurry up so I can have them in the cure jars right before I leave.

Day: 82
I’m a bit confused. I stopped my nutrients last week because I believed I was two weeks from chopping and wanted to finish them solely on water. Now the leaves are looking terrible but I’m assuming that’s because the plant is almost ready? The trichomes say otherwise, but either way I’m close. The Plant with barely any leaves should be ready here in a couple days.
forkdik It’s one of those things that comes with knowing the plant I can only assume
triston805 The plant is pulling its stored nutrients from the leaves because your flushing. From what I’ve seen that’s what happens
combatmedic81 Triston is correct

Day: 79
So close to the finish line! They are packing on some weight, think I’ll have a pretty decent yield for my first grow.

Dr. Boring Meow meow that looks lovely :)
Day: 75
How are we looking? I finally got my digital microscope working so this is the best I could do for right now, it’ll take some work to get better pictures. No ambers yet, looks 50/50 cloudy/clear. All help is very appreciated!

budman0211 Pic 2 and 4 have a tad of amber! Looking good! Almost there. Another 1 - 2 weeks should be there
Day: 73
First Grow but extremely happy with the results so far. Getting so nervous about drying and curing though. Any help is welcome! Getting closer.

GiJoey Looks fantastic!! I’m just a couple weeks behind you on my first grow, so I know how you’re feeling lol We’ll get it figured out 🤞
D B I dry in an old 2x2x4 grow tent. I chop and hang the whole plant get rid of all the dead fan leaves before hanging. Then try to maintain 60 degrees and 60% humidity for roughly 16 days. My last grow only made it 7 days in the tent before the humidity was too low. So I cut the branches off and put them into a smaller tote. The humidity is easier to control in a smaller space. Opening and closing the cover to maintain as close to 60% humidity as possible. I made it to 10 days before I had to trim because I was at risk of over drying. I did the wet trim thing once and my weed smelled like hay and dried too fast. Now I trim when I’m completely dry and ready to go in jars. Have patience you don’t want to ruin a few months of work.
GalacticRetro Wow thanks for the information! I plan on doing the exact same thing for my drying process, using a separate tent. I have everything ready for it except a dehumidifier which I don’t think I’ll need because I already struggle with maintaining humidity right now. As long as I can keep my humidity above 55 and temp below 70 I’ll think I’ll be alright, maybe. 60 seems a bit tough to maintain as well.

Can’t thank everyone enough for recommending nutrients! I love this community, everyone has been so nice and helpful to a newbie as myself.

Day: 62
Just an update, need to up the water. They are begging for it I believe.

Day: 59
I’m not entirely sure my days are correct on here, might be a few days off so I really think the plants are about day 53-55. Anyways, watering tomorrow morning with some nutrients but I have began to realize these seeds just really didn’t have the best genetics. I probably won’t grow these again unless I’m just messing around and put one in a 1 gal pot for their grow.

Day: 55
Flash makes them look a bit extra, I will admit that but the regular lighting doesn’t do them justice. I still think they need even more nutrients than what I have been adding. Going to up a tad more the next watering and see how they react.

bootygrows It’s so hard to get the right photo lighting bro😂🤣
GalacticRetro Can’t wait to install the LEDs for my next grow, mainly for picture taking! Haha
lation1984 Damn look at them all

Day: 51
I started using flash when I take pictures, but no filters obviously. Watered tonight. Kind of proud of these so far. Really turned them around.

stick e fingerz Nice 👍
Day: 50
Day 50! They have really developed some color after adding the nutrients. Hopefully another month and we can chop!

Day: 49
Traveled for a day so left them a bit unattended but watered with nutrients last night. Thank you to everyone who recommended that I give them some nutrients, they really needed them.

bigsammy 😮 amazing
Day: 46
Doing well after adding the nutrients but still needs lots of attention. Good thing I have enough time to fix some mistakes.
Day: 44
There is a weird light problem every time I take a picture of the plants, it’s weird but that’s why they look a bit off. Anyways, watered this morning and took everyone’s advice and finally added nutrients! Be kind :)

Day: 42
I know they aren’t looking that healthy, my first grow. Trying my best over here.
RESINTACOSOK They are hungry as hell
GalacticRetro I just don’t know what to feed them! I’m using Ocean Forest Top Soil with a Cali Super Soil beneath it. Only fed water as I was assured that would be all i need.
GalacticRetro I believe I have a nitrogen deficiency. Ordered some “bloom” product. Will add that to my water when I water on Thursday morning. I ordered some cal-mag as well but only going to add the bloom for now.

Day: 40
Turns out all I had to do was start taking pictures with the flash on. Watered this morning and getting excited about the way these are looking!
mystrain420 _@eaegifts They are heavily faded very early on, you need to feed them or yield will suffer. They look very bad rite now but hopefully you can bring them back. Good luck with them growmie 👍🏾👍🏾
GalacticRetro I was assured my super soil on the bottom had enough nutrients to give them what they need. I have no idea what to feed them as there are a million options. I guess they don’t look as good as I thought…
mystrain420 _@eaegifts You can probably find some good organic flowering food or look into making aact’s and top dressing.

Environment is great right now, plants looking pretty healthy for what they are. Tomorrow I’m adding a new seed once it germinates. Really excited about that and for the new challenges it will bring.

Day: 37
Watered this morning. Some leaves dying but the new growth looks good and healthy.

stick e fingerz Is that BF blue cheese?
GalacticRetro No, it’s from ILGM. I did just get some BF seeds for future grows that I am excited to try out.
stick e fingerz BF is some great stuff I had their blue cheese auto and bro that’s 🔥

Day: 34
Just another morning update. Nothing to report back on.

lettuce97 what is this
GalacticRetro Strain or what’s going on in the pictures?
Day: 33
Watered this morning. The Bleu Cheese still seems to be a bit droopy but looking a lot better than what it was. Thinking about adding another plant to start a perpetual grow, probably a stupid idea, but we will see. Also switched to 20/4 light.

Day: 31
Watered this morning and they are really hitting a stride. A bit more LST tonight. I hate the lighting from HID for pictures, doesn’t the the plants any justice.
Day: 29
Slowing coming back from whatever happened. Watered as usual, but they seem to be perking back up. Switched my light back to HID which seems to be helping a ton especially with getting my temps back up. First Grow so still learning a ton every day.
Day: 27
They look even worse today. I guess I’ll add some nutrients even though the sooo advises not to, only water. Can’t hurt I guess.
mystrain420 _@eaegifts Fox farm soil nutrients only last 3-4 weeks and they itch a good fast growing plant you’ll only get about 3 weeks with water frequently. Definitely feed but start low around 25-50%. Good luck with her 👍🏾
mystrain420 _@eaegifts With* not itch lol
GalacticRetro I switched back to my HID light tonight. Getting everything back to square one, I got cute and changed things up and it cost me. Not gonna let these girls die.
Day: 26
Lost power from a bad storm yesterday for about 10 hours, still recovering and getting back to normal. Temps have dropped due to switching from HID to LED. Gave a bit of humidity because it got down in the 30%, turned off ventilation to hopefully get it back in the 70s for heat. Hoping for a good morning view tomorrow before watering.
Day: 24
The girls were looking pretty droopy this morning but I guess that’s because of the change in light last night. Did some light trimming and getting ready to water tomorrow morning. I also noticed a fly in there. Any advice?
Day: 23
Added a spider farms SF1000 light. Did a bit more LST.
Day: 22
Started LST tonight! It’s a bit hard to see but any advice? Not sure how high my lights should be either. I’m running an HID Bulb about 18”-20” above the top lead. My LED light comes in Friday, thinking about changing to that when it comes in but not sure if I should switch during this stage in the grow.

Day: 21
I believe these are ready to LST. Any pointers?

Day: 19
My caretaker is doing a great job, can’t take much credit for the growth. I would like to try LST when I get back in town.

Day: 17
Watered this morning. Light 24 hour on.

Day: 16
Looking good to me. Can’t wait to get back into town and see them for myself.

Day: 15
Got this picture from my caretaker who is watching the plants while I’m gone. She about gave me a panic attack today but that’s a whole other story. I had her add some dry soil back around the root plugs but I’m okay with where they are at until I get home. A bit droopy but I’m sure they will perk back up tomorrow.
Day: 14
Second day with caretakers. A bit sad I’m missing them flourish right now but I’m really just happy that I got them to this point on my first grow. Absolutely love this hobby so far. How is the humidity - Should it be higher?
Splifford L Move RH up more toward 60. Learn and study about VPD.
GalacticRetro Sorry, I’m still learning quite a bit everyday but what is VPD?
Day: 13
First day with caretakers while I’m gone for a week is going great. Got these pictures. I’m still nervous as this is my first grow.
greenhouseguy95 Looking like a nice healthy growth rate man !
GalacticRetro Thanks! I’ve been a nervous wreck through this whole process. They really have taken shape since being potted.
Day: 11
Slow and steady! Will water tomorrow morning before I leave for a week but I have them in great shape right now so the caretaker will only have to water 2 or 3 times and keep water in the humidifier. Fingers crossed.
blakzs Love the blue painters tape. I use it for everything! Oh and the plants are nice too :)
blakzs Do you trust this caretaker? If not just have them use a spray bottle so they can’t fk up.
blakzs Or a shot glass or something. Anyone I ever have help me tends to overwater. Just looking out!

Back on track! They really perked up overnight. I gotta keep telling myself to have patience.

Day: 8
At a crossroads. One of my Amnesia Haze Seedlings in the germination dome is looking fantastic while the Blue Cheese in the pot is looking a bit pathetic. I’m due to water this morning but wondering if I should replace the BC with the great and healthy looking AH. Thoughts?
bling guru Such a beautiful baby! 😉
emaj7b5 It’s day 8. I would leave as is for the moment. I had a seedling that I thought wasn’t going to survive. Not only did she survive, but flourished. They plants are amazing. I’ll post a before and after shot so you can get an idea of what I’m talking about.
GalacticRetro That would be much appreciated, thank you.

Day: 7
I overwatered yesterday. Learning curve. I also bent down the sides of the pot so they don’t seem half full anymore. 5 Gal pots, just didn’t have enough soil to fill both up entirely. Everything seems to be going well except the small overwatering.
mystrain420 _@eaegifts You should consider starting in cups next run, it’s easier to not overwater and plants grow faster in cups to start then transplant. The low soil is actually a good thing especially for the stretchy girl in back because u can add soil to fill the pot and cover that stem 👍🏾👍🏾
mystrain420 _@eaegifts I see their autos lol never mind starting in cups with autos if u new to growing 👍🏾👍🏾
GalacticRetro Thanks for the advice! I still have two seedlings in their germination dome that look much better. Worried my light might be too low or something.

Day: 6
Started updates late. Moved from germination dome into final 5 gallon pots.
moon.unit Quick question is there a reason for pots half full?
GalacticRetro That’s all the soil I had to work with. I should have gotten 3 gallon pots. I’m going to try and bend the pots down even more so they don’t look like that. Will that be a deal breaker for me?
lavenskyler I upgraded from 3 gallon to 5 gallon pots. Cant say it’s any better but the root balls are completely consuming all the space. I’d imagine the larger pots work well but can’t say the smaller pots stunt growth. Would be nice to know for sure and I’m sure someone will chime in!!
