Day: 79
Approaching the end. Gave her one gallon pH’d water with 1.5mL Sledgehammer. Straight water from here out. She’s lovely, but I definitely overextended myself during this point and hopefully she’ll perk up a bit more.

You hate to pick favorites with your girls, I love them equally, but man is she just amazing. Despite 5 days without water (and only a sip yesterday to carry her to feeding today), she has been a crystal machine and hasn’t shown any deficiency issues. Week 10 FF Trio half strength. 7.5mL Big Bloom, 5mL Tiger Bloom, 5mL CalMag, 5mL Molasses.

Unknown cause of damage to cola. Tried to bind but wouldn’t hold. Trimmed off damage and I really hope this doesn’t shock her too much. Gave one gallon pH’d water.

Day: 40
A little droopy. She drinks more than the others it would seem. Fed her 7.5ml ea of Big Bloom and Grow Big, and 5ml of Tiger Bloom and Molasses in pH’d gallon of water.

Day: 37
Watered with half gallon pH’d water today. Noticed one of the ties was strangling the head of a cola and all twisted. Tried to straighten it out and loosen the grip. Noticed some damaged leaves there and under the canopy of leaves not getting light. Will trim a lot more now that she’s flowering in 2 days (one week from last).

Day: 32
Woke her from her nap for a trim and style. Will give gallon of pH’d water with Fox Farm Trio schedule for week 4. She looks so sad when sleeping 🥺 Will add a pic when she’s awake later. Noticed beginning of nute deficiency which makes sense at 4 weeks of the hot soil.

Sweet & Sour Chicken What type of water do you use? Distilled/ purified water / Tap/ Reverse Osmosis?
phoenix323 So far I have used distilled but it has been on shortage around here so this feeding is with spring water. Wish I had the space to distill my own.
Sweet & Sour Chicken Do you think distilled is better than purified? everyone have mixed opinions about the water to use

Humidity all over the place still. It’ll be a wonder if I don’t herm these plants. Cannot manage to regular temp or humidity in this old house! But she doesn’t seem to mind and is taking off.

Just loving the daily progress. Lifted lights to 36”

Day: 8
Still working on stabilizing temp/humidity. The bane of old houses in winter. Humidity fluctuations from 30-75%, temps from 65-90°F over last 3 days. Seem to be dialing it in though. Turned off carbon filter, fan is on second speed, humidifier is up to 75% (which it never reaches), and the top of the tent is open to heat my cold house.

Day: 5
Stretching her wings! Working to keep humidity high consistently but battling the carbon filter that is removing humidity with the heat.

DiSMEMBR_ Cut a bottle of water or a 2 liter bottle in half, and cover the plant like a humidity dome
Day: 2
Watered thoroughly.

She has made a debut!

Cutler Good morning to her! Just wanted to pass on a suggestion that I’ve started trying on my seedlings last grow, that helped a lot. On a forum I was reading someone had mentioned how water droplets on leaves- on a warm sunny day (or indoor under a grow light) act as a magnifying glass for the sun, drawing in heat and burning the vegetation. I didn’t believe until they explained that this is the reason why it is usually always dark and cloudy when it rains. So anyways, what I suggest doing and what I did on my other grow is simply give the little babies a gentle flick to remove the water. My seedlings seemed to grow a lot better this way. Wish you luck on your grow brother!
phoenix323 Thank you! I’ll make sure she’s good!
