gave 2 gallons of water with veg and root boost? starting to wonder if lst if even worth it when growing outdoors. any adivice is welcomed! i just feel like maybe topping is more appropriate than lst when growing outdoors.

@eaegifts

@eaegifts I’ve never grown outdoors but have grown over a decade indoors and the way I see it is lst=more light penetration and most importantly for an outdoor grower better structure to hold up against wind. When they grow straight up it makes them easier to fall from wind

mypersonalspace @eaegifts okay then i will continue to look for more info on outdoor lst and for now keep at it. thank you!

watered with fertilizer and spray bt

RoMag Personal what did you spray? And why did you spray? One thing I noticed is the plant looks “leggy” like from stretching. How far away is the light source? One thing we all have to overcome is the fact we have the tendency to give what I call “killing the grow with too much love.” Too much water, or too much nutrients. Less is best. Personal - you are just going through the learning curve. I found that my plants do much better when I just leave them alone and let them grow. If you have to, look up how the strain you are growing is supposed to change from week to week. Then just use that as a guide as what to do and expect and what to watch out for on a weekly basis. You’ll get the hang of it.

@eaegifts

@eaegifts Saw your other post and I’d advise taking pics midway through their lights on time. Plants droop at night isn’t necessarily a water problem, plants droop when sleeping also.

mypersonalspace @RoMag i sprayed monterey bt for caterpillars. diluted and mixed like the instructions say. also its outdoors it might be cause its under the shadow of a tree for a couple hours during the day? @eaegifts yeah ill stick to daytime pictures now. thank you!

Prattn1 What is that green line wrap around it called? And what does it do. I just started growing for the first time

mypersonalspace

mypersonalspace hi @Prattn1 im not sure if this will reach/notify you but thats like a wire coated in rubber i got off amazon. its meant to help me do lst/low stress training where you bend the top down or to the side so the lower parts of the plant get more sun and just give more flower in the end. its my first time trying LST too and my second grow!

Prattn1

Prattn1 Thank you so much for the information
