Day: 124
Looks like we made it guys! After leaving her hanging to dry for 7 days, Lois has officially been cut down to just nugs! Now I’ll keep them in the mason jars for the next 4 weeks to let them cure. The curing process will bring out the smell and the taste of the buds. Not to mention it increases the psychoactive effects. (After they hung for 7 days I noticed the smell dropped dramatically. However, this is Normal and when I put them in the jars for a bit that smell bounced right back!) The ideal humidity level for curing is between 62%-65% humidity. I’m using humidity packs to keep them at the optimal level. For the first week I will be “burping” the jars 3 times a day to let out moisture and let in fresh air. I make sure to roll the cannabis around so they aren’t stuck to one another. I’m making sure the buds don’t stay clumped together to avoid mold. Her final weight was 76.1 Gs

BuddyKushman Nice. Those buds look frosty
Day: 118
I’ve had Lois in darkness for 2 days now. My reason for this is to increase trichome production right before I harvest. She will be coming down either tonight or tomorrow morning. Depending on how she looks.

Day: 116
Day 2 of flushing and Lois is still looking good. Buds smell great! Ph was a little high today but I adjusted it back down. I tried to get a good shot of the cloudy trichomes you can see a couple of them. Just a couple more days and I’ll be cutting her down. So exciting!!! PH - 6.8 Water temp - 74° Tent temp 81°

BuddyKushman Amazing report man. I’m on my first grow too. What kind of light are you using? A lot of old school guys say my shitty 600w Amazon light won’t work.
xX_Shorticus_Xx Thanks man! Yeah I heard that as well. Admittedly this IS one of those 600w Amazon lights lol I plan on upgrading eventually. But from my experience they’re not that bad.
BuddyKushman Oh wow. Thanks for the info man. Lois is looking amazing!!

She smells so good! I changed her nutrients today. It’s sort of a bitter sweet day today. I have to leave her for 7 days (vacation). She’s being left in good hands though so I’m not too worried. When I looked at her today I noticed how frosty her leaves were and it’s so exciting!!! Can’t wait to see how she looks when I get back! PH - 5.8 Water temp - 72° Tent temp - 81°

Well it’s been a few days since my last update and all I can say is . Lois is looking beautiful. Her buds are fattening up nicely. Some more than others but I’m sure that’s cause of the trauma she experienced while training. She was showing signs of light burn so I tied down some of her colas to bring them down a bit and I raised the light to the maximum height allowed. PH - 6.1 Water temp - 73° Tent temp - 78°

Day: 51
I changed Lois’ reservoir yesterday 7/12/2020. This time I added the nutrients for the blooming stage. Hopefully she starts forming those buds soon. Some of her colas were taller than the others so I tied them down to be even with the rest. I also decided to defóliate a little. All in all the canopy looks great! Day: 48
Lois is healthy and beautiful as always. She’s standing 6” tall and still going strong. I had to tie down a fan leaf so that my smallest cola can get some light, hopefully she catches up a little bit. I also cut her fan leaves cause they were damaged when I snapped her. Hopefully now it’ll grow faster. PH - 6.0 Water temp - 65° Tent temp - 77°

Lois is currently 5 3/4” tall. Her roots look great. Seems like the root excelorator really helped keep the root rot to a minimum. New leaves coming out thinner showing me good signs that she took to the light switch well. PH - 6.5 —> 5.8 Water temp 74° —> 72° (left water bottle in to cool down further) Tent temp 79°

Day: 43
Lois has been doing great the passed few days. Been kinda busy so I haven’t been posting. Her roots look good, however there is one strand that I am worried about. I’ll keep an eye on it and see how it progresses. I’ve tied all 8 colas down. Tomorrow I’ll be changing her Nutes. PH - 6.2 Water temp - 70°

Day: 39
Lois is currently 5 1/2” inches tall. She seems to have recovered from me snapping one of her segments while training her. I want that node to catch up a little bit so I can top her for the last time. I’m glad I didn’t lose the segment. Meanwhile I’ve been able to keep the temperature below 70° so I don’t think root rot will be an issue. All her nodes were far along enough so I decided to top her for the last time! PH - 6.5 (brought back down to 6.3) Water temp - 65° Tent temp 78°
4 years ago
Day: 36
Lois is currently at 4 1/2” tall her nodes are coming in nicely however I accidentally snapped one of the nodes. I’m hoping it will recover cause I supported it. On a brighter side. I pruned off the main root rot section because I had enough roots at the bottom to sustain her. Gonna let her recover for another 3 days then I’ll top her one last time. PH - 6.2 Water temp 62°

Day: 34
Lois is 4 1/4” tall and is looking healthy. More roots are coming in and I’m trying to keep them nice and healthy. PH - 6.2 Water temp - 72° Tent temp - 79°

Day: 32
Lois is 4” tall and is looking good. Roots still showing root rot signs but I’ve been keeping the temperature below 72° so hopefully that slows it down enough to get to harvest. PH - 6.2 Water temp 68° Tent temp 79°
4 years ago
Day: 31
Lois is standing 4” tall. I went ahead and topped her for the second time. Today I had a better time controlling the temperature. I’m hoping this will be enough to avoid further root rot and get to harvest. PH - 6.2 Water temp - 68° Tent temp - 79°
4 years ago
Day: 30
Lois is currently 4” tall. She’s looking healthy. however, her roots don’t seem to be getting any better with the root rot. I’m struggling to keep the water below 72°. I’m hoping it doesn’t get any worse but it seems like it might. I’m just gonna keep an eye on it. PH - 6.1 Water temp 75° Tent temp 82°
4 years ago
Day: 29
Lois is 3 1/2” tall and is growing fast as usual. I’m still concerned for the roots. They seem to still be having some minor root rot issues. Trying to keep the temp below 72° is tough. Gonna try more frozen water bottles to try and regulate the temp. I’m hoping it doesn’t get worse. PH - 6.5 (it was a little high brought it back to 6.3) Temp 72.6°

Day: 28
Lois is 3 1/2” tall and seems to be taking the training like a champ! I changed her Nutes today. I realized last time that I didn’t put the correct amount of nutrients. But this time I made sure . FloraGrow - 9 tsp/4 gallons of water FloraMicro - 8 tsp/4 gallons of water FloraBloom - 4 tsp/4 gallons of water. SLF-100 - 2 tsp/4 gallons of water Root Excelurator- 1 tsp PH - 6.4 Water temp 69° Tent temp 81°

PurleyBoy92 I’m running the same nutes now but with how often would you flush ?
xx_shorticus_xx You don’t gotta worry about flushing until you’re about to harvest. Since I grew this plant hydroponically I only flushed for a week.
PurleyBoy92 Ok cool
Day: 27
Lois is still at 3” tall. She was growing like normal so I removed the lower growth and tied her down as planned. PH - 6.3 Water temp 74° (dropping back down to 72°) Tent temp 81°

Day: 26
After Topping her yesterday, Lois is standing at 3” tall again but the nodes are looking great! Gonna give her another day so I can defóliate the lower growths. I want to keep them for today cause it’s gonna help her recover. PH - 6.3 Water temp - 69° Tent temp - 81°
5 years ago
Day: 25
Lois is standing tall at 4” looking healthier than ever. Today is the day! Going with the nugbuckets’ style of mainlining, I will be Topping her for the first time. This will ensure that I get an even canopy and 8 main colas instead of one big main cola. Here we go! PH - 6.4 Water temp - 72.3° Tent temp 81°

Day: 24
Lois is currently 3 1/2” tall. I’m hoping the “root Excelurator” is fixing the root rot. I’ve been keeping the water a lot cooler. PH - 6.3 Water temp - 73° Tent temp - 81°

Day: 23
The plant is currently 3 1/4” tall. I was worried about her roots getting root rot so I went to my local hydroponics store and got some “Roots Excelurator”. I also put some water bottles in the freezer so I can drop them in the reservoir and cool the water a bit. Hopefully that should rectify the problem... finally! PH - 6.4 Water temp - 75° Tent temp - 79°

Day: 22
Lois is currently 3” tall. She seems to have adjusted to the new nutrients very well. I’m a little concerned with her roots. I’m seeing a little browning on them so I’m thinking the root rot is starting to set again. I added some cloth to the top of the clay pebbles to block the light from getting in. PH - 6.4 Water temp - 76° Tent temp - 79°

Day: 21
Lois is looking healthy as usual. She is currently standing 3” tall I changed her reservoir today and added full Nutes for aggressive vegetative growth. Per the bottles instructions I went with: (4 gallons of water) FloraBloom - 1 tsp FloraMicro - 2 tsp FloraGrow - 3 tsp SLF-100 - 1 tsp PH - 6.3 Water temp - 77° Tent temp - 75 (I expect it to go up once I close up the tent)

Day: 16
Lois seems to be the same height. However, I realized too much light was getting into the reservoir. I didn’t want root rot to set so I added more clay pebbles to block out the light. I’ll have to start my height tracking over again. With the pebbles added she is at 1 1/2” PH - 6.5 -> 6.37 Water temp - 77° Tent temp 81°
