I swear it’s been overcast and/or rainy 90% of the last 3 weeks in Chicago. Decided to get a little creative today, with the help of ZkittleZ(1st grow just finished cure) and some Bourbon🤓

Both had a pretty rough start, and the smaller one is about 2 week younger. Small one had zero training and the larger one had some LST. Small started flowering a few days before the LST plant. Just goes to show the stress I gave that poor baby girl. All that aside, I’m pretty pumped for my 2nd grow/1st outdoor grow. They seem to look healthy and happy, for the most part🙌

Night flash shots are always the sexiest😎 Small one has hella abuse and zero training. Larger one has same stress and LST. I’d say first LST experiment has been a success. Next round I’m trying out topping. Side Note: the stress/neglect was an unintentional part of this experiment😅

She’s a bit stunted, but decided to do some LST on ‘er. I’m a beginner, so this is mostly for learning/experience. If she dies or is further stunted from this, there will be no hurt feelings here. SIDE NOTE: This picture was from over 24hrs ago and she definitely made some growth progress today, so I’ll take it as a win! Will adjust LST when needed. This is all in the name of my own personal knowledge🤓 Any tips are still greatly appreciated!

DuganNash Hey there, looking good. I’m a newer grower so maybe this is a dumb question, but does the paper plate serve a purpose?

Milldozer @dugan it was a temp fix. When leaves touch soil they tend to rot and die. I just used as a barrier.

Day: 11

Cool night randomly hitting 50-. Tossed a lamp over them to give more heat. Transplanted 2nd BB seedling today w/a dome. Outdoor so far so good!

Milldozer It’s just a cheap-o blurple I have for seedlings. That bright reflection is from the light on the plastic bottle I had covering one of them🤙
