First Grow

x2 Jelly Donutz & x2 Super Boof

W1D1 started when I saw green pop out of my custom living soil mix in compostable 16oz pots around Sept. 23. Slow but steady and even growth until around W2D1 when I believe I stressed the plants with a lighting change (from 24/0 to 18/6) and overwatering, causing Super Boof #1 to stunt growth from what I understand is root-rot. I expect a full recovery though. Transplanted into final 5gal fabric pots on the 8th or 9th of Oct. and had some troubles getting BOTH Super Boof rootballs out as they had grown into the compostable pot (first and last time I’m using them) so I ended up tearing away the majority and leaving the bottom 10% connected, where the roots were stuck, and planting them. I’m interested to see how they respond to this unexpected challenge, but I perceive them being completely okay with the situation. Otherwise, the ladies are absolutely thrilled, developing their 4th node here on W2D7. They are getting ready for their second micro-feeding and are lush, bouncy, and deep green (besides SB#1, which is still slightly yellowed and short due to overwatering). I’m running an AC Infinity 4x4 with a 430W IONBOARD S44 for my hardware, with Cronk Nutrients Intermediate Kit for every macro & micro nute that these beauties will need to thrive and Great White Mycorrhizae to promote a positive-nutrient cycle in the root system. All in all, very excited!
