@eaegifts Just my opinion-if you’re gonna do a side by side just for fun you can use two seeds but if you’re tryna document differences in growth based on medium you need to use clones from the same mom as close in size as possible and cut the same time. If doing it from seed they only carry the same Genotype but Phenotypical expression is what you’re looking for 👍🏾👍🏾

Mr.Tee Na it’s for fun I already know the dwc takes off a lot faster but the soil is easier an faster to feed but they’ll generally be about the same but depending if one’s has a stronger pheno then certain characteristics will show or come out more then the other , I understand that’s why u say use clones cuz there identical from the same momma.. i figured that out pretty fast along time ago .,When I got a pack of “Gelat.OG” feminized seeds I ordered an popped half an half soil/hydro.. an got sum different looking in size an appeal phenos…I got a cherryPie keeper pheno that I clone from that I might try different nutes on instead of mediums cuz I grow in both every grow I had I had at least 2 in hydro if most are in soil or vice versa just to do it cuz like messing around with wutever extra plants I end up with when I start a grow where no seedlings or clones die or get stunted or end up being males early in there life…. But ya it’s just for shits an giggles 😂 cuz these two I popped to see if the seeds were still good 👍

@eaegifts Solid, I love watching the side by sides. I’m growing in dwc and coco myself. It’s great to run the same cut back to back, I’m noticing I get different bud structure in dwc and of course way better yields but flavors are better out the coco
