This seed was white when I found it so it was pretty old. It is still in the paper towel but looks like it will be ready to plant in another day or two

Second step of germination: All seeds go onto paper towels that are sprayed with distilled water to stay damp. Any seeds without trails after 7 days are thrown out

Starting with 1 seed. I always start germinating my seeds by sanitizing them and placing them in distilled water for 18-24 hours. This one looked old but sunk with agitation
