Bassman Question. What's the white stuff around the plant?

Am70817 The white powder is Diatomaceous Earth, its a 100% natural insect killer. Im using it as a precautionary method, what it does is gets in the crevices of insects and its so sharp to them that it breaks down their exoskeleton.

Bassman Ohhhhhh. Cool, I learn something new here every day👍🏾

Plants look to be doing just fine, no more sight of damage but Im still in the testing stage of seeing if it comes back and is truly contaminated. Light Cycle 24/0

Tyler197 If your still having issues with your leaves. What I’m seeing in your pics is from a boron deficiency. Causes abnormal growth to appear.

Well yesterday we found out that we may have pests so I removed all possibly damaged/contaminated leaves as a precautionary measure to see whether or not anything may come back or is still contaminated and I am holding off on watering/feeding and any foliar spraying. Also put all natural Diatomaceous Earth around the soil and on edges of pot containing the plant as another precautionary measure, chose this instead of any other insect killer because its completely natural and will do no harm to my plants just doesn’t look as pretty lol. I also put parchment paper over my soil and sprinkled the DE on that to ensure it wouldn’t become hydrated by the soil in the larger plants. Will have to reapply or may even put parchment paper in the smaller plants because Ive noticed the DE becomes hydrated by the soil relatively quickly. (Some of the DE has been spread by the fan so if you see small white spots thats just the DE thats been blown around) Temp- 70F Humidity- 65% Light Cycle- 24/0

Plant is currently about 1.5 inches tall. Growing in a very interesting manner, unsure of sex at current time.

Kakes808 It’s growing to the side of more light

Am70817 @Kakes808 Ive moved it to different locations within my tent as well as rotating it every day and even when it first sprouted I noticed that it was mutated but Im just going to see where this one takes me! Im pretty interested to see what happens as it gets older
