Day: 112

Stripping the bottoms even though am super late on this run… I usually get agressive on the lollipop right before I flip and then at week 3 I finish whatever I missed down low and strip hard to allow for light penetration. Then again at weeks 6-7 since they usually need more defoliation by then and the buds are done bulking also. 👍🏼🙌🏼

NEED HELP PLEASE… Been super busy with family things and behind in the grow. Need to flip to flower asap. Plants are 21 inches from a MH light at 50% power. A 2nd trellis-net was added today/ continuously bending over tops. Foliar spraying with mono-silicic acid, for tighter nodal spacing and help w/stretching. Any suggestions that could be helpful towards this matter would be very appreciated🤷🏼‍♂️👍🏼 Happy Trichome Farming✌🏼

combatmedic81 Weave as much as possible through the trellis and / or super crop once the stretch hits in early flower

60tree Grower

60tree Grower Thank you for this reply. Ok I can definitely keep weaving and tucking. Once in flower do I wait for the final stretch to super crop or the first 2 weeks of flower? Lastly, how do you apply the super crop method, just barely breaking the surface and bending? I already broke off a main top from rushing the other day and I never do this but with having a sick father and now a mother being diagnosed with lung cancer my mind is all over the road. Life, but yes thank you a ton!! Happy Week brother-man!

Mr.Hashsticks Flip that fucker man give it a heavy prune to strip anything that's not gonna give you prime product. Anything to far down will just be larf. It's no fun and we're not growing larf we're growing bud

GrNadeGrade 💣

GrNadeGrade 💣 Try lowering the PAR/PPFD to about 600-650. Also, lowering the LED so it’s closer to the top of the canopy. Finally, recommend looking into HST. The first two recommendations are to deter/minimize vertical growth, and HST is your “break glass in case of emergency” option.

60tree Grower

60tree Grower Sweet bro thank you for this tip, Am utilizing a Metal Halid/HPS light fixture for the additional heat during(winter) season in the production space and I haven’t check the PAR/PPFD but will today however I am 21” from the tops now and don’t want to burn anything am at the lowest setting 50% now, 75-100% options only in this fixture. HST in flower or should I ask this before flipping and only the main tops or everything that is reaching the net and or stretching too much? Thanks a ton! Happy Friday to you👊🏼

Day: 84

Flushed today, due to yellowing from the margins on most of the top growth and only on half the plants not sure why-because 8/plants are the same genetic and the other genetic is only showing tip burn/purpling on the new growth… however the 1/2 gallon fabric containers had another serious dryback but the leaves weren’t yet dropping🤷🏼‍♂️ Any suggestions and/or solutions would be greatly appreciated✌🏻👍🏻

GrNadeGrade 💣

GrNadeGrade 💣 In my opinion, your leaves aren’t dark enough to signal N Toxicity. Potassium is a mobile nutrient, so you’d observe symptoms starting at lower branches. So, I’m inclined to believe it may be a Calcium issue, since the symptoms originate from the top fan leaves.

60tree Grower

60tree Grower Your the best, thanks for sharing ur opinion with me, Mg was my third choice, I will try a Magnesium foliar supplement and see if the new growth is good. Have urself a awesome and prosperous New Year’s Nothing but positivity for ya in 2024!!

GrNadeGrade 💣

GrNadeGrade 💣 No worries 😉. You can do a Cal-Mag foliar spray.,that way, you cover both suspected culprits. Much appreciated 🙏, and have yourself a glorious 2024 🎉 brother

Day: 70

Two feedings ago looked like plants developed a slight potassium deficiency but after upping the K/Calcium with each feeding they are bouncing right outta the deficiency. Plan to start spraying wettable sulfur as a weekly treatment prior to transplanting.
