Day: 64
Fed some cal mag and fox farms big bloom (only a few mL each). Growth has shown down and am not sure why. I assume it’s the same issue causing the droopy leaves. HELP!!!!!! Temp 8F RH 62%

Day: 63
Light watering today with distilled water pH to 6.1. Raised light so it is about 25 inches from the canopy. Leaves seem kinda droopy (not praying upwards). Temp 78F RH 60%

Day: 58
Watered yesterday with distilled water pH to 5.9. Have continued LST. Temp 78F RH 60%. Not sure if I should flip into flower yet or try to get a more even canopy first... thoughts?

Day: 50
Plants still looking good so still no watering. Will probably water tomorrow only because it’s been almost 6 days since last watering. Still not sure if I should give nutes. Temp 79F RH 65% Open to suggestions!

Day: 49
Doing much better since I’ve transplanted. Some LST and TLC. Haven’t watered since transplant but will probably do so in the next day or so. Not sure if I should feed or keep with straight water. Plant seems to be doing much better so might stay with plain water. Temp was high today around 80 and RH was 65%

Day: 46
Transplanted a few days ago and haven’t watered since. They seem to like their new pots and fresh soil. Will probably feed cal mag and nutes tomorrow. Temp 77F RH 63%

Day: 42
Small watering yesterday with plain water pH 6.6. Will be transplanting within the next couple of days. Still can’t confirm the sex on any of the plants. Clear deficiencies seen but should be resolved after transplanting.Temp 77F RH 68%
5 years ago
Day: 40
Still can’t tell the sex of the plants so am nervous about transplanting and ending up with only 1 female or none at all (can only fit 2 air pots in tent). Still showing deficiencies as I have yet to feed them and probably will just wait till I transplant as I don’t want to burn them with too much. No watering today. Temp 78F RH 62%

Day: 39
Gave slightest idea waterings yesterday and boy did they bounce back!!! Discoloration from deficiencies are clear so feeding is needed probably tomorrow or the day after. Shriveled leaves were from the last two days where I thought the plants were done for. Temp 77F RH 61%

Day: 36
Plants looking real sad, probably overwatering so will let dry out another couple of days. Deficiency on lower leaves has gotten much worse. Don’t know what to do. Do I feed and deal with overwatering issues persisting or just wait it out and let soil dry completely before feeding them?!!!! Temp 82F RH 51%

Day: 35
Alright, looking for some advice... I was dealing with an overwatering issue earlier in this grow so I’ve been letting the plants dry out before watering again. Now I have what seems to be deficiency symptoms showing up as well as the droopy leaves. I’m planning on letting them dry out some more and probably flush tomorrow. Can I give nutrients after a flush? Just looking for suggestions to help the ladies be a little healthier. Temp 80F RH 55%
5 years ago
Hydrodro It looks like you watered too soon again mate. Your pots should literally height nothing before you water again. The plant NEEDS oxygen and when you don’t allow it to dry out fully it is not getting oxygen at the roots
Goldenboy531 I had a sneaking suspicion I watered too early again...
Ducatiboy Damn man learn patience and listen to your ladies. They will tell you everything, sometimes you’ll just have to figure it out. Next time stick your fingers in there about 3-6 inches you’ll know when it’s dry!

Day: 34
Watered yesterday, no watering today. Installed new ventilation fans (intake and exhaust). Plants seem pretty happy but some lower fan leaves have some discolored patches and I’m not sure what it is?!!!!!! Temp 80F RH 54%
5 years ago
Ducatiboy Looks like you spilled your nutrient mix on them or it could be deficient in cal/mag
Goldenboy531 I was thinking cal mag only because I haven’t given nutrients in almost 2 weeks. Should I just add some cal mag to the next watering?
Ducatiboy Yea hahaha feed that young woman!

Ducatiboy Get bigger tent thise strains can get out of have. Personally had qp with that and buddies have had 1lb with that strain. Better to have more space then to little, other then that you look good!
Goldenboy531 I will be “culling the herd” when I transplant into bigger pots. There will only be two plants in the tent during flower. Thank you for letting me know tho, I will try to train them to be more bushy hopefully.
Ducatiboy You shouldn’t need bigger pots if you’re running 2gal or 3gal these autos typically finish 70-80 days. More space is always good though!

Watered with distilled water pH to 6.6. Added mosquito bits to topsoil to hopefully prevent an infestation of gnats (seen a few flying around). Also added 2 sticky traps to try to catch as many as possible. Will probably top them tomorrow. Temp 81F RH 51%
5 years ago
GottaGrow I wouldn’t top them. I’m on my first grow and the 1 out of 4 I topped is no where near the others. This was my first grow as well but I’ll never too another. Just sayin...
Goldenboy531 This is my second grow (but definitely still a rookie), I topped the first time on half the plants and the yields from the topped ones were significantly better. I’m in no hurry, I’m trying to take my time and grow dank buds so I don’t mind a little extra time in veg.
Ducatiboy Up your wind flow. Gnats cant lay eggs or land if wind flow is good... keep up the good work!
Day: 30
No watering today, some leaves look slightly curled. Temp 79F RH 57%

THCFarmer226 Wow they look beautiful...Great job so far!
Goldenboy531 Trying my best, just absorbing as much info and knowledge as possible and enjoying it too!
Day: 29
No watering today, pots are light but there’s definitely still some weight to it. Plants look good. Ordering new exhaust fans tonight to hopefully keep parameters more consistent. Temp 77F RH 66%

Hydrodro Based on the leaves you might even be able to go another day or two without watering, the roots love to dry out before being watered again. It is the roots way of getting oxygen
Day: 28
Watered with distilled water which had a pH of about 5.9. Having a hard time keeping pH in the “safe zone” not sure if it’s my blue labs pH meter or something I’m doing. Tips for storing water and maintaining a good pH would be appreciated. Will probably be buying two ac infinity 4” exhaust fans with thermostat controller (one for moving air in one for exhaust). Also I’ve heard fox farms ocean forest soil can run slightly acidic so what should the pH of my water be before I water them? I’ve been trying to keep it between 5.8 and 7. Temp 79F RH 67%
5 years ago
Guttaboy9 I’m a beginner too but I make sure my ph is at least a 6.5 I never had any problems.
Goldenboy531 Do you store your water after you pH it or do you use tap water or an RO filter?
Guttaboy9 I use tap so I’m usually using ph down most of the time. I store a couple gallons to the side

Day: 27
Watered today with distilled water pH to 6.2. No runoff underneath after watering because of possible overwatering (trying to get better at watering ie amount of water given, judging the weight of pots to determine when to water etc). Tucked bigger fan leaves behind new growth. Temp 81F RH 61%. Possible nute burn (yellowing leaf tips) so will hold off on feeding for a few more waterings or until I see fit.
Goldenboy531 After doing some reading, it seems like I may not even have to use nutes at least until flower with the soil I’m using. Will focus solely on plain waterings and monitoring pH unless I notice signs of a deficiency.
Hydrodro That burning on the tips is actually a deficiency, not burning. It is due to incorrect ph of soil making a certain nutrient locked out. Do some research I like to use https://www.growweedeasy.com/marijuana-symptoms-pictures
Goldenboy531 Ok good, I realized that the water in my sprayer got more basic than when I first pHed it so I had to dump it and re pH it. I need to remember to measure pH before every watering! Any idea why the waters pH increased by just sitting there? Is there anything I can do to make it more stable?

Day: 26
Very light watering today and trimmed some lower fan leaves that were getting in the way of some new growth. Plants looking good, will probably top them soon too. Let me know if I should top them sooner! Temp 80F RH 75%
5 years ago
Hydrodro Looking good but it might have a little nutrient lockout probably caused by too much nutrients and maybe some over watering. Also defoliating may not always be the best solution, you can also try tucking the leaves because the more leaves the more the plant is able to photosynthesis
Goldenboy531 Probably overwatering, is there anything I can do instead of just “not water too much”? I’ve only given one feeding so far and it was 1/3 strength with 1/2 strength dose of cal mag.
Goldenboy531 And should I top them tomorrow, or wait longer?

Day: 25
Light watering. Temp 75F RH 50%. One plant has some discolored leaves.
lfernandes The left color change is likely because of under/over watering the plant. Get a meter to measure the water.
lfernandes Make sure your pots have drainage on the bottom.
lfernandes Get your rh up. It should be ~ 70 percent at this stage of the plant. Get it into the sixties at least. 50 is too low. If you can’t get it up make sure you spray leaves daily with distilled/ro water only

Day: 21
Very light watering. Trimmed lower fan leaves. Exhaust fan seems to be dying (barely pushing any air out) but temps and RH seem to be ok at 75 F and 47% respectively. Will wait for next full watering to start nutes.

Day: 20
Light watering with distilled water pH 6.2. Put humidifier back in to raise RH. 2nd node on each plant has curled or deformed leaves but all other leaves seem healthy to me. Still no nutes given yet.

Day: 19
Plants have grown quickly but have shown signs of possible over watering (leaves curling down). No nutes given yet. Plants were transplanted from solo cups to current pots yesterday.
