The foliage and bush are vigorous. - water: water daily for two weeks until established, then water as needed. - fertilize: feed with season-long balanced fertilizer once leaves start to show. - maintenance: mulch with organic matter to conserve water, improve soil and reduce weeds. Spray with fungicide and insecticide as needed. - pruning: prune to remove dead canes and blooms.
