Harvested after 6 weeks of veg & 9 weeks of flower. Could’ve definitely went a little bit longer 1-2 weeks & maybe got some more out of them. The whole crop was really uniformed in bud size, arms filled up & everything was comparable in size all the way. Final results were 1.94 grams a watt (2580) or 7.333 ounces a plant (24) Over all I’m happy with with the results, still not matched my best yield yet with HPS. But I’m producing over 0.5 grams a watt more with LED & using 1170 watts less in the same space. The whole grow was pretty much problem free from start to finish. I had a little bit of mutated growth within veg, but once I cut it out was fine going forward. They didn’t really stretch much about a foot in total, was planning to super crop but was not needed. Had about 30- 40% ambers at time of harvest. I bought a TrimPro which took about 2/3 off of the trim time off. Whole thing came down within 9 hours, admittedly the cut wasn’t as close as hand trimming, but definitely acceptable. Filled up 6 buckets which is 1 more than I usually get & it dried to 3 buckets, would usually have 2. Drying took about 6 days on racks in a controlled environment, 21 celsius, 58% RH & used a fan for the first 3 days to circulate the air. The new watering system really held up well, few adjustments need to be made to it going forward, but I think it’s a definite welcome addition to the set up. Looking to add Co2 back in next time & see if I can beat my best yield with HPS, I used Co2 with that HPS run as well. So will make for an interesting comparison, happy growing until next time🪴

Last week before harvest week 9, could have gone at least a week more, if I had the time. Everything is looking really good, the main tops have all pretty much fallen over. Except for 2 to 3 that are still standing strong, the bottoms have developed nicely. Getting some good penetration from the LED’s, defoliating has definitely helped expose more to the light. Trichomes are mostly cloudy, with 30-35% amber maybe that extra week would have got it closer to 40% will do 24 hours of light with no water on the last day before harvest. I have bought a Trimpro, hopefully takedown will be a breeze. Half a days work or something close to that would be nice ✂️ very excited to see the turnout of this one. I have already decided to run Co2 on my next one

Coming to the end of week 8, got a new magnifying attachment for my phone. Can see some brown trichomes, most are cloudy. About 2 weeks to go so should be about 30% brown by then. Most of the tops are starting to fall over now 😬 I am very excited to see what the outcome will be at the end

Week 8 of flower, started the ripener this week. See what I can squeeze out of these girls before the end. I usually use it for 10 days & flush for 4 days. But may extend the flush if they still look green & healthy. I have noticed a few of the heads are starting to fall over now and even fall below the net 🍃🍂

Week 6 of flower, added PK this week. I’ll run it for 2-3 weeks. 1 week high boost & 1-2 weeks low boost, see what I can squeeze out of them 🌻

End of week 5 of flower, will be looking to add PK in the coming 1-2 weeks. They are really starting to stack up now, that boost will be needed soon 🌲 I got one plant that wasn’t receiving any water for a few days, lots of yellowing showing. I have changed out the piping so hopefully things will turn around in the next week or so

Defoliated yesterday, really like the way the girls are stacking up, 25 days into flower & the development is amazing. There was one or two of the pots that felt significantly lighter than the rest. Cleaned all of the drip shields and caps. Should last to the end without getting blocked hopefully. They looked relatively small compare to what I’m used to with HPS but the development is night and day 🍃

Coming to the end of week 3 of flower, things are moving along nicely. I have noticed a bit of lightness in some of the girls. After feeling the pots I notice they have not been getting watered as much, so I’ve made adjustments. The stretch after 21 days was minimal, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, they look like they will stack up well. LED really do keep them short, i’ll be looking to defoliate this week, lollipop and net them. Ready to develop some big dense buds 🌳

End of week two of flower, after adjusting the pH & making a new feed. Things seem to have stabilised, bud sites are starting to form & look like they will stack up nicely. One more week of growth & I will defoliate, lollipop & net. Then that be it to harvest 🪴

Starting the 2nd week of flower, I have some discolouration on some of the leaves. Not quite sure what it is yet, have adjusted pH as it was a little bit off & added in some more cal mag. Hopefully will sort it out 🪴

Defoliated the rest of the girls yesterday, the inside growth really needed tidying up. The LED’s make them grow really compact, not much stretch at all. Had to cut out most of the middle to open them up, also cut away some of the smaller branches that won’t make it. Probably veg for two more weeks & switch 💡

One week in to veg & it’s been a slow one. I was a little to eager to use my new drip shields. Should of let the girls grow out a bit, before using them. I had a lot of mutated growth where they were trying to grow out of the little hole, as you can see in the photos before I defoliated. I wouldn’t usually defoliate at this stage, unless I was trying to improve the structure. By re-concentrating the growth to a certain part of the plant. Will probably have a few days of slow growth, then they will pick up again. Have also been having a few issues with my environment, but the AC has stabilised now & temperatures is keeping within range. Had a few hot days when the AC turned off to protect itself from freezing. My additional clips arrived yesterday, so the FloraFlex system is fully operational now. Things look promising so far, the watering is a lot more even. Waste has been noticeably reduced, when I make the week 2 feed in a day or so, things should really pick up for them 🪴

Critical Kush cuttings have just been potted up, I’m waiting on some additional clips to fit the remaining 4mm pipes. I’m happy with the way everything is looking & working so far. Cuttings will need a few days to grow out the holes fully and look a little bit more healthy. Currently just trying to dial in the watering schedule, AC timer seems to be playing up a bit as well. But hopefully is all set now, stable environment for the next week should have them pick up in no time 🌱
