Bum Wine/Strawberry Field

Day 71 (Week 11)

22 updates

68 photos

Day: 71

Day 71 since seed (67 since sprout) for 3/5 autos. Day 67 (63 from sprout) for 2/5 autos. Just did red change to flush plants for next week or so until harvest. The strawberry cough photo got some heavy defoliation and is being scrog’d. Had to do it to control humidity and space for last week. Unfortunately, this is needed since I’ll be out of town for the last few days for the flush.

ArsK Hey. Plants look great. What do you mean by scrugging and flushing.

ArsK Also, are you using the Kratky method for hydroponics?

Frostyoz Looking good bro, what nutrients you feeding the lady’s

Reservoir change today. Last week I realized the strawberry cough wasn’t an auto. As a result, I got 2 28 quart coolers to replace the single 52 quart container. Strawberry cough will veg while the other finish flowering. It’s in its own reservoir now with the veg nute schedule. 2 x 10 gal res - flower 50 ml silica blast 50 ml cal mag 50 ml micro 25 ml gro 75 ml bloom 50 ml kool bloom 50 ml diamond nectar 20ml floral nectar 25ml hydroguard 6 gal res - flower 30 ml silica blast 30 ml cal mag 30 ml micro 15 ml gro 45ml bloom 30 ml kool bloom 30 ml diamond nectar 15 ml pineapple 25ml hydroguard 6 gal res - veg 30 ml silica blast 30 ml cal mag 30 ml micro 30 ml gro 30 ml bloom 30 ml diamond nectar 15 ml pineapple 25ml hydroguard

Trellis installed today. Should have done it a few days sooner. Rear middle plant is showing some distress since the reservoir change but she’s flowering nice.

Another reservoir change today. Plants were showing some deficiencies. Found I out I was mixing nutrients in wrong order. Corrected order and upped bloom nutrients. Silica is also back.

Day: 29

Reservoir change 3. All tanks PH @ 5.8. 1037-1089 ppm. Plants have started flowering. The 1st pic is strawberry fields from 1st batch. The next 3 are of bumwine from the original batch as well. They look a bit stunted to varying degrees. The last 2 pics are of the new bum wine plants. Under the same condition these are growing much harder than their older sisters.

Reservoir change today. Ran last solution too long and had to clean nute build up out of coolers with hydrogen peroxide and water. Up nutrient regiment. Plants are a little warm in pics as they were close to the lights while I changed the reservoir. *pH: 5.85 **last plant pictured is 10 days old.

2 new seedlings added. The original 4 are at varying levels of health. Since switching over to the the final DWC pot I’ve seen a lot of me growth. Many of the weaker plants are starting to turn around. The ones at the end are the least healthy. Hopefully these won’t be too stunted.

DCThrowaway Forgot to mention I added a humidifier 2 days ago as well. I think the seedlings we originally too hot and humid to grow in the propagator tank.

Day: 12

2 new bum wine seedlings sprouted today. Growing in separate cubes for now but they may replace some of the weaker seedling I have growing atm. Pic of strawberry.

Vermonter Sorry but From what I see those starters Will be stunted will never do well

DCThrowaway I agree and appreciate the input. A couple days after switching over to the pots many of them started to look better. I also culled 2 of the weakest plants and replaced them with a couple seedlings I sprouted a few days ago.

Day: 10

Transferred to DWC. Strawberry Fields (pic) is the best looking one by far.

Day: 8

Switched to plain water with 5.7 ph. Seeing some improvements.

Day: 7

Bottom right is strawberry fields rest are bum wine. 2 new seeds started bottom left and center.

8/8 seeds have germinated and we’re moved to 1x1 in rockwool starter cubes. Started cubes were placed into propagation dome. Hygrometer added to dome Humidity is around 80% Temp is 82 (higher in pic but the hygrometer was originally sitting next to the light.)

Day: 1

6 of 8 seeds germinated after 24 hours. 5/5 bum wine 1/3 strawberry Note: bum wine seed in bottom left of photo popped first and shows the most growth.

DCThrowaway The remaining 2 strawberry fields seeds popped the following morning.

Day: 0

Germinated seeds in wet paper towels. Water PH to 5.8

DCThrowaway Day 0: Seeds germinating in wet paper towels. Propagate is shaded and room is at 76F. Tap water no nutrients with ph’d to 6.4. 5 gallon of nutrient water prepped for seedling strength. Rockwool start cube to soak over night.
