First Indoor grow (Appreciate advice)
October
Planted in Coco Peat, watered with tap water and in a 18/6 light schedule, unfortunately I don't have enough wattage and lumens in terms of light to grow it fully indoor, so I'm doing seedling and early veg indoor and probably going to move it outdoors once it's big enough. It was under a 2x11W Cool white CFL (4000k), but now it's just 1 of the CFL's and a 15W 1200 Lumen (4000k) LED spotlight...don't know if this will work properly, but I guess I'll find out.

Day: 86
Plants main stem split down the middle due to "low stress training" (2 weeks ago) but she's recovered fully and growing properly

D420 Also transplanted her and Fimmed the new growth a week or so ago, she was root bound when I did the transplant

Growing well

Day: 36
It's been a few days since I topped it (on day 30/31) and she seems to be recovering well, dunno why the new leaves are looking strange and different to the other ones though

D420 New leaves seem to be a lighter shade of green, less symetrical and most only have 3 gingers, but some look more oval Than serrated?
D420 *fingers
ClandestineWestOz New growth will be a lighter shade of green don’t stress too much about it bro they look good

May have done this too early, but I topped my plant today, might have to transplant her in the next week or so

D420 P.s. Can someone tell me what that brown dot is on the one leaf?
ClandestineWestOz Topping is most often done after the plant has 4-5 nodes, but it’s only a guide.
ClandestineWestOz That brown spot could be where some nutrient splashed? Or some coco that flipped up onto the leaf from watering.

Day: 25
My 2x 30W grow lights arrived today (hence the purple/UV effect) but they will chip in the extra hour for the 18/6 cycle when the plant isn't in direct sunlight

Day: 23
Growing blah blah other things....not much has happened, just vegging it out

Day: 22
Put her outside and saturated the dry soil with Seagro nutrients She seemed to really love the sunlight, so I will continue to provide proper sunlight in the day and supplement the rest of her 18/6 light cycle indoors, under my shitty setup XD

D420 I was really happy to see the plant in the "Praying Position" (Leaves perky, pointing to the sun) P.S. 4/7 of the seeds I planted have sprouted, so I'll start a new grow journal on here soon for the new additions
ClandestineWestOz Sun intensity still looks solid in your part of the world, but for when it’s not out those led lights you ordered will do fine. Wish I could give you my bottle of ph down I’ve never used it 😕 Good luck with the grow I’m following your journey.
D420 I live in South Africa,So we are in summer now, and we're getting some great sunlight! It's so difficult to find PH Down here though... It can only be ordered online and I can't afford to get it, but I hear adding vinegar to water brings the ph down, so I'm going to experiment and test that theory today And thanks for following my journey, I would love to see what you have growing and how that's going!

Growwwww

LOV|LED It's growing, but slowly. Are you using regular tap water? Do you know the PH of the water?
D420 Tap water in my country is quite high, it tested at 7.8 but I've been trying to look for PH down in my local gardening shops and it's difficult to find, I also agree it's growing slowly...does my lighting have anything to do with its slow growth aswell?
D420 I thought I was going crazy thinking about how slowly it was growing. But I just accepted that, that's probably how it's supposed to grow, so thanks for confirming my theories, any advice would be highly appreciated (it's my first time growing cannabis)

Day: 17
18/6 light schedule with two Cool white CFL's

Newgrowferguson Looks legit bro the only thing I would say on advice wise is the tips of the leaves-that light yellow spot means something is wrong i don’t know if it’s light burn/sun bleached or a nutrient deficiency but I know it’s something
D420 It was previously outside and if you look at my day 11 update, that's when the tips turned that colour, I think it was due to the heatwave that we were experiencing or the tap water, but it's growing green and healthy not that I've brought it inside
Day: 16
Implemented a fan to strengthen plant and I have started a time lapse of the plants growth for the fun of it

Day: 14
Seems like my CFL set up is working quite decently, the seedling is looking greener and is growing nicely, also ordered two Full Spectrum 30Watt LED lights of Amazon, so I'm eagerly awaiting for those to arrive in a week or two
6 years ago
BigBoyTroy For now man I’d say stick it in a very sunny location. Make sure to adjust the plant so it’s leaves are fully soaking up the rays. And I’d say start feeding it NOW. At 25% strength
Day: 13
Brought my plant inside and put it under a cool white 11W bulb and a Warm white 15W Bulb, will this setup work ..like will it grow under this, just until it is big enough to go outside again and get proper sunlight on more leaves (PS it's on a 16hr light timer)

D420 Oh and it's in my cupboard
Day: 11
Tips of leaves are brownish,I'm assuming it's due to the heatwave we are experiencing,is there any way I can prevent this or aid the weak little seedling?

Day: 10
10 Days since I planted the seed, It has its first set of leaves,I can spot a stem coming up the middle and it is looking healthy and green

Widdows420 Is it an auto flower strain? Starting a grow in the fall will be difficult with winter coming.
D420 I live in South Africa (Southern hemisphere) so we have just come into summer
D420 And it's a bag seed, so it's an unknown strain, currently growing in coco peat and watering it regularly, haven't added any nutrients or anything, it's been organic so far
