Day: 106

7:45 7/24/2020 Pretty bad potassium deficiency. I was going to start flushing but might give them one more shot of potassium

leland3471

leland3471 Are you sure it’s a deficiency and not the normal fade towards the end of the grow?

Masscangrow You plants look awesome. I let my plants eat up the leaves at the end of the grow til they are yellow.

Braydenjenks Same here. I’ll let my nutrient s do their job and not worry about the deficiency of my leaves determine a flush. Your plant is very healthy and towards the end of its life cycle. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Looks great 😤💪

7:00pm 7/22/2020 Looking fine. Tallest banana kush starting to lean due to the weight of the buds. Will have to tie/support soon probably. (Note to self: use net on next grow). No amber trichomes yet. Makes sense, it will be 7 weeks of flower on the 24th. Seed bank said these strains will take 8-9. Almost done 😊

8:30am 7/16/20 Due to the light schedule conflicting with my work schedule... my wife had to give them water. No nutes or ph, just RO Water. Buds are getting so heavy I had to put stakes in and tie them up. I guess it’s a good problem to have 🤷🏻‍♂️ definitely will be using a trellis net next grow

(Trained) They were 18-12” to 22” from light at 100%, which gave me 41,000-61,000 lux across the canopy THEN I moved the light up to 23-1/2”-27” away from canopy to give me 39,000-53,000 lux across the canopy. Picture of baby bud is from tallest part/cola of the tallest banana kush (front right).

Day: 57

7:45pm 6/5/2020 Starting week 9 with switching to flower!! Today they will only get 12 hours of light (8a-8p) I gave them each a gallon of water 6.4-7.2pH and 250-265ppm... 6ml of CalMag each to try to get rid of calcium deficiency. They’re 16” tall. 27-28” from the light that is now set at 100%, no more dimming. This gives me 33,000-51,000 lux at the top of the canopy (corners vs middle) Runoff: Middle-6.3ph 730ppm Bottom left- 6.6ph 600ppm Bottom right- not enough runoff Top left-6.4ph 400ppm Top right-6.5ph 550ppm I will add that the ppm might be off. Wasn’t as much run off this time so I could test it up to the “fill” line on the meter. Also, I don’t like to let them sit in the runoff. They will have to over night tonight because the lights were about to shut off, so I didn’t have time to dump the trays.

shadowz325 Looks like the plant on the front left is recovering. See the way the leaves on all the other ones are pointed down like that? Its cus theyre too heavy from the amount of water theyre trying to hold. Wait till the leaves are back to flat or pointing slightly up before watering again. When u water do a little bit at a time and test the medium one knuckle deep. If dry, add water. If moist but not wet, perfect. If wet, overwatered. You’ll get it next time :).

ahuff774 Thank you!

Day: 53

8:00pm 6/1/2020 Gave 1 gallon of water to each of them. Added 5ml of CalMag to each gallon. 180-220ppm and 6.3-6.4 pH. Hoping this water will lift them up, they’re thirsty! Runoff: Middle plant 6.2pH 550ppm Bottom left 6.15pH 550ppm Bottom right 6.3pH 750ppm Top left 6.5pH 500ppm Top right 6.15 pH 630ppm (Need to work on raising pH on some) Middle plant is 13.5” tall trained Lights are 30” above canopy, dimmed at 75%, getting anywhere from 23,000 to 33,000 Lux

Autobud Oh yeah def underwatered. If that’s coco you should be watering til runoff daily

Day: 51

9:00am 5/30/2020 Gave 2-1/2 gallons divided amongst 9 of them yesterday (5/29). Ph 6.5. The two full gallons had 4ml of CalMag. 180ppm. After that, got rid of 4 plants to create some room. Today I trimmed some lower dying/dead leaves and added a humidifier, RH was dipping in the high 30’s. Moved light up to 25-1/2” above canopy. Plants are 13” tall trained. I have one fan below the light now, one above.

Day: 36

7:30pm 5/15/2020 Just watered them approx 28 ounces each. pH- 6.6 They grew up towards the light a little bit. Raised the lights back up to approx 24” above tops of plants and turn the bloom switch on, so now veg and bloom light are both on. According to my PAR spec sheet, they should be getting about 649 (directly under it) Great way to kickoff week 6!

Day: 33

+4

6:00pm 5/12/2020 Watered today. 6.6pH, approx 28 ounces each. They’re a little too green, hard to tell in the “Blurple” light, but I’m not going to give any of the general hydroponics nutes anymore for awhile to cut back on the nitrogen. I did give 2mL (per gal) of the CalMag still today. On another note, moved my oscillating fan up to approx 24” above top of tallest plant. The banana kush in back left corner was getting some damage from the leaves rubbing together too much and too vigorously. Also, moved lights down to 24” above tops of plants.

Day: 32

7:00pm 5/11/2020 Just tucking fan leaves. LST is working great. First and second picture are same plant. My biggest one, it’s a purple haze.

Day: 31

11:30am 5/10/2020 Day 31 marks one full month. 👍🏻 I lowered the lights last night to 25.5” above the tallest purple haze (first&second picture) I also lowered my dehumidistat to 55%, it was at 60%. I’m going to keep lowering it every couple days or every week. They look happy after the second round of LST, water, and nutes from yesterday!

ahuff774 9:00pm, checked on them again. Tucked some big fan leaves. Seems to be reacting well to nutes and lowered lights. Possibly could’ve started both sooner? Oh well! Going great

Day: 30

10-11:00am 5/9/2020 Looking good, gave them some low-dose nutes today. 1mL of Gro, Micro, Bloom. 2mL of CalMag. (All per gallon) 2 gallons divided amongst the 9 plants (~28 oz each) pH- 6.55 After tied them all down again, round 2 of LST.

Panna24 I’m a new grower but I give first NUT just right after transplant. I think they doing well. I’m using Advanced nutrients. They say 1 ml/ 1L first time but I did 0.5.

Day: 28

+2

5:15pm 5/7/2020 Today marks week 4 👍🏻 They’re looking good, some are getting ready for some more LST already. I messed around with some and carefully bent them Lights are 30” away from tops of plant, 18/6

KC40 I think your plants would do just fine at this stage with the light at 24 inches or even closer up to 20. This translates into a lot more light - at 24” they will get twice as much as at 30”. Looking great either way!

ahuff774 Thank you for the advice! I’m learning. Should I lower it down slowly or would they be fine going straight to 24”? Don’t want to burn them or stress them too much. I’ve been wondering about the lights but didn’t really know because they aren’t stretching

Day: 27

4:45pm 5/6/2020 Watered pH 6.6 2 gallons divided among the 9 for approx 28 ounces each Added a little bit of CalMag to the back 3 just to see if they like it. If so, I’ll be giving all some next watering.

9:30am 4-25-2020 Still doing alright, I posted in ILGM forum and came to the conclusion the small problems I was having was due to poor quality/miraclegro soil. So last night (4-24 7:00pm) I did a transplant into FFOF soil with added perlite. I also added Great White mycorrhizae for root supplement, hoping it helps with the transplant stress to come. Braydenjenks You’ve got nothing to worry about. Your plants look very healthy could just be that specific plant isn’t like the ph of your water but that’s something you’d have to mess with over the course of a few days to weeks. Hope I could help!

11:00am 4-23-2020 Fed all plants a really low dose of nutrients today. 1/3 tsp of CalMag 1/4 tsp of each (gro/bloom/micro) 1 gal of water pH 6.5

Day: 13

9:30am 4-22-2020 Plants are growing well still. I ended up watering last night with pH 6.3. I’m worried still about some of the leaf deformities but can’t find anything online that looks similar to what I have going on. I think I’m going to give them some low-dose nutrients when they’re due for the next watering and see if that helps or not. Any tips would be super helpful!!!!!!!!! Grogirlgro Are u talking about the spots on the leaf? I’m a newbie but it looks like it may be from a little water splash which will then burn frm the light magnifying it. Your girls are beautiful 😍😍

ahuff774 @Grogirlgro I’m a newbie as well, so thanks for your help! Yeah there’s a few spots. But I’m mostly concerned about the leaf like curling/wilting like you can see in the third and especially the fourth picture. Not sure what it is. Thanks again!!

Grogirlgro Ohhh ok I see what u mean. Idk kinda looks normal to me I posted on this forum called ILGM google it, it should pop up, and they told me that leaves can look a little funny as they’re growing. Maybe try posting ur picture there just to be sure they have a really great forum with knowledgeable ppl!

Day: 12

10:00am 4-21-2020 Still haven’t watered again. Soil still feels pretty damp. I see new growth and progress. But I also see some leaf deformities. Is this due to the transplant? Too much/little water? Because I haven’t given nutrients yet? Help is appreciated! First picture: biggest purple haze Second: biggest banana kush Third: example of the leaf issue

KC40 Growing in Coco? I had a similar problem, transplanted into 5 gallon pot far too early (with wet coco) and it was not drying out, and the plant seemed overwatered. From what I can gather, coco works best when you are watering at least once per day and with nutrients, though of course there will be differing opinions. I ended up potting down to a solo cup and twice daily nutrients and she turned around nicely. If my 1 gallon pots don’t arrive soon though she may have to go back into the 5 gallon... Good luck!

10:30am 4-20-2020 Happy 4/20, glad to wake up and see more growth. First picture is biggest purple haze, it’s 2.5 in. Second picture is biggest banana kush, this is the girl I thought I was having problems with due to the curling leaves... however I keep seeing good new growth so I’m not going to panic just yet.

11:00am 4-18-2020 On the biggest purple haze, i See the 3 points on the 2nd set of leaves now. And 3rd set poking through. I am concerned about the biggest banana kush. One leaf was starting to curl a little before the transplant... now both are and there’s a brown spot or two. Any suggestions or tips to fix it? See pictures below.

Day: 8

1:00pm 4-17-2020 Pictured is the biggest of the purple haze. Transplant was done today. I was hoping to not have to do it this early but as you can see, roots were growing out of the container. Watered well with pH 6.45. Lights are 27” above plants now. I’m not sure yet what to do with my tenth plant. It’s the runt. Banana Kush. No room for it but good root growth. I’d hate to just kill it.

Plants in soil are showing good progress. Looks like they’re working on their next set of leaves. Plants in peat are still growing much slower and struggling a little bit. Tallest plant (purple haze in soil) is 1-7/8” tall

8:30am 4-14-2020 Still haven’t given nutrients. Just pH 6.4 water today. The ones in the soil are doing better than the ones in the jiffy peat pods so far. Not sure if I’m being impatient, but I hope these girls are growing at a normal rate. Still small, up to my second knuckle on index finger

Day: 4

All 10 plants have shown growth and have their leaves open. I’m hoping 30” away isn’t too much/too little light for these guys.

Day: 3

9:00am 4/12/2020 All 10 seeds have broke the dirt! Roughly 2.5 days after planting the germinated seeds. The banana kush seeds that are in the jiffy seed starter appear to have a hard time breaking the seed. The leaves aren’t coming out. It looks like a seed on a stem. Any tips appreciated.

WeedlePlugz What type of light ya running ?

ahuff774 I was running (2) BESTVA DC series. They’re a cheaper amazon “blurple” light. Just recently switched to Growers Choice ROI E-680. Loving it so far
