-12/12 Light Cycle💡 -21-23 Celsius🌡 -60%-70% Humidity🌊 Mixed kelp meal, blood meal, and bat guano in a spray bottle to create a 7-4.5-3 NPK ratio. A lot of growers switch to low N, and high P/K right when their lights switch, however, I found this ratio to be more beneficial for the flowering stretch.

-18/6 Light Cycle💡 -24-26 Celsius🌡 -60%-70% Humidity🌊 I’m playing around with watering amounts on the automatic drip irrigation system and switched up the schedule to 750 ml (divided equally to all plants) every 2 days. I usually water way more then that when hand watering, but drip irrigation uses less water by sending water directly to the root zone.

-18/6 Light Cycle💡 -24-26 Celsius🌡 -60%-70% Humidity🌊 I just installed a Kollea Automatic Drip Irrigation system and it works perfect. -18/6 Light Cycle💡 -24-26 Celsius🌡 -60%-70% Humidity🌊 I’m gonna let these plants veg for one more week, then I’ll switch the lights to 12/12. That will give the roots enough room to stretch in the 5 Gal pots. Also, this strain needs around 8-9 weeks of flowering time, and I gotta go to school start of September, so shit needs to get done... FAST.

Caliban Looking nice! Lush! Ready for some training
locker105 Thanks man, I’m planning on setting up a SCROG net soon so that should help spread out the tops.
Caliban My advice is to get those grow bags out of those high wall plastic Tupperware. You want good airflow down low to help the soil breath and under canopy. Get small saucer style pot holders for water runoff. Airflow is good. Plants look amazing

Stoney68 My green crack has yellow tips on leaves and yellow leaves on the bottom. I watered yesterday with 1 tbsp molasses to 1 gallon of water. What is causing this? I brought it back from nute burn 2 weeks ago.
locker105 I think your post is private, so without a photo there’s not much I can say definitively. However, based on that description, yellowing at the bottom is usually either A) natural process of a plants life (leaves turn yellow when they don’t get enough light) or B) Nitrogen deficiency. Also, If you had nute burn 2 weeks ago the yellow tips would make sense, once a plants leaves turn yellow it can never reverse back to the green it once was. If I was you though, I would invest in a ph meter, make sure the water is around 6-7, and stick to an appropriate NPK ratio for the size of your plant. Personally I stick to a 2.5-1.5-1.5 NPK ratio once the plants around 3 weeks old, and then dial it up once it’s mid veg to 7-3-3.
Stoney68 Should I water my plants every day?

steezykayla Hahah love the drainage capture totes. I’ve totally done this although I just used the lids of the totes. Those look like fabric pots, do you have any pot elevators for underneath them? Nobody wants soggy bottoms haha! Good airflow thru the bottom is important with those I believe.
locker105 Honestly, when I was planning out this grow set up I totally forgot to buy any drainage totes but I just found this stuff around the house. That is a good idea tho I could try to find something to elevate them.
locker105 (update) I just bought a 3 pack of rolling drainage elevators off of Amazon, so thanks for the advice. These are sick because I can turn the plants around easier when I’m watering them/adding organic fertilizers.

Caliban Hey there. Just my quick assess looks like you might have an Nitrogen over feed situation and nutrient burn. Turned down dark green leaves. And burned edges feel like N overdose.
IllusionalDazle Not looking so good! :/. I have some spots and burn on my tips as well! How are you gonna fix this?

CaptainCannabis420 Looks like she has a little magnesium deficiency
locker105 Yeah that’s exactly what I thought too, but now I’m thinking it may have been light burn…
locker105 The light was 28 inches away from the top of the plants which was the correct distance but my light was too powerful. When I dimmed the light to about 60% power though the yellowing stopped so I think that problem is resolved.

-18/6 Light Cycle💡 -24-26 Celsius🌡 -60%-70% Humidity🌊 Fertilized the plants last night with a mix of around (7-4.5-3) NPK ratio (half that dosage was given to the young plant). -18/6 Light Cycle💡 -24-26 Celsius🌡 -60%-70% Humidity🌊 Just topped the big plant today, and the new growth is looking healthy, but I’m noticing some kind of deficiency on the second highest leaf (first pic). I have no idea what this could be, but ill probably give the plants more nutrients tonight which should help the problem. This is only occurring on new leaves, and it looks like yellow stripes around the edges of the leaf, so if anyone knows what this could be, please shoot me a comment below👇

locker105 Now that I’m looking closely at these plants, I realize that this could be a magnesium deficiency… maybe. I would love to hear other people’s opinions though.

Day: 13
-18/6 Light Cycle💡 -23-25 Celsius🌡 -60%-70% Humidity🌊 These girls are getting a lot bigger. When would you all suggest I transplant them into there final 5 gallon fabric pots? The solo cups are pretty small, and I already can see some roots around the drainage holes, so I’m thinking I’ll transplant sooner then later.
Caliban Time to transplant when the leaves are over the edge. I usually go 1 gallon for about 3-4 weeks then up to a 10 about 1-2 weeks before flower. Good luck.
locker105 Thanks for the advise Caliban I appreciate it. I totally agree with you it’s best to transplant earlier then later in order to avoid root-bound stress. I just used solo cups to start because there simple and extremely cheap to get them through germination. I feel the plants are going to love it when I put them in a 5 gal fabric breathable pot though.
Day: 11
-18/6 Light Cycle💡 -23.5-25.5 Celsius🌡 -80%+ Humidity☹️👎 As you may have noticed, the humidity in the tent was crazy high. Once you get past 70% humidity in the tent the environment becomes harmful to the plants. The problem was I left the window open to the room the grow tent is in and the super rainy and foggy weather clouded up the room. Plus my humidifier was on so that did not help at all😐. Plants don’t look too fazed though, just seems like they’re in the early stages of overwatering.

Day: 10
-18/6 Light Cycle💡 -23.5-25.5 Celsius🌡 -60%-70% Humidity🌊 The newly germinated seedling magically changed colours overnight!!! Went from a extremely yellow seedling to a vibrant green one. I raised the light 3 inches, so this probably played a factor in getting the plant to bounce back.

Steven Growsmith Too much light causing mutation possibly
locker105 Yeah my light is definitely powerful so I’ll probably raise it tomorrow again as they grow. So far though I feel like the bright light is making the very low growth which is great because lanky seedlings grow poor plant structure.
locker105 Do you think I should do anything differently to the first photo? It’s been growing the fastest but the leaves looked a bit crinkled up this morning.
Day: 9
This seed sprouted way faster then I anticipated. The only problem is it doesn’t look as healthy as the other seedlings were... It looks a bit yellow, and the cause may be light burn. The lights are 25 inches away from the top of the seedlings, but this is also a pretty bright and powerful device. Does anyone have another opinion about what this could be??? I’m a first time indoor grower so I’m not at all experienced with led’s.

moodswings? She ok just root bound if you think she sick she just wana breath
locker105 Thanks for the tip, that’s good advice. I usually use the paper towel germ method but this one I just stuck in the ground, so I guess that just goes to show you the effectiveness of growing out the tap root before planting.
Day: 8
-18/6 Light Cycle💡 -23.5-26.5 Celsius🌡 -60%-70% Humidity🌊 New sets of leaves are starting to come in and the plant keeps getting bigger💪. As a grower, when do you all start fertilizing your cannabis plants? I’ve seen many organic growers start early in the seedling stage and get great results without nute burn.
