Thrashman69 What’s the density like on it?

KermitKultivate

KermitKultivate Not too bad, top nuggets are solid but the lower you go the less tight nuggs become. Happy considering I chopped a week early.

bigsammy Looks good how does it smell

Gutted to say the least, 2 days ago I had to cut a main cola as there was the start of mold due to humidity reaching 80%. On said day I installed 2 dehumidifiers both set at 50% now 2 days later set to 60%, for the past 2 and a half days I have moved the fans to continually blow on the buds instead of on top of the canopy and bellow. Also have been through and checked every single nugget and to be honest I think I caught it fast as it has only showed on 1 nug, I know spores travel and mold spreads like wild fire but after 2 days of constant checking every nugget and I mean every nugget I seem to be in the clear, I think it was just an unlucky cola as this has never happened before but I am soo lucky because this could have been much worse, just started flush so 14 days to go, will keep a close eye on them and will possibly wash buds with h2o2 if I have any concerns of mold.

Sorry about the pics not the best quality, so had my first (real) problem yesterday. Been playing around with rockwool as medium, have had signs of deficiency that led to toxicity, the problem was under control after flushing with water but after the first bit of feed the toxicity came back with vengeance! Decided to cut my loses and dig them out, roots never looked that bad, still white and no nasty musky smell, actually quite a nice early smell. Anyway cut some roots away and extracted as much of the wool as possible without destroying them completely, washed with an 11% solution of hydro peroxide mixed in water and completely stripped her to give the roots less to feed. Probably could have just flushed due to roots looking fine, but that said I’m sticking to coco as never had a problem.

trichometheatre

trichometheatre I just wanted you to know that your Experience has helped to educate at least one person and I’m sure it will have an effect on many others every mistake is another chance to learn right even though it sucks losing some of your crop, another lesson learned!

KermitKultivate

KermitKultivate Cheers mate, I’m sure I could have done a few things before this but I’m just sticking to what I know and feel comfortable with and that’s coco. I do hope they pull through but if not I can’t complain, lesson learned 😂

trichometheatre

trichometheatre That’s it man I like to think that we are or should be thankful for the fact that we even have the opportunity to make these mistakes and being able to grow what we want! Every successful grower that I know has been through hell and back and that’s how you pick out who truly has a passion for the plant and a Biology that it creates!!! ☮️💚🧬

Anyone got any ideas? At first tried treating for phosphorus deficiency but no change, have now tried extra calcium and will see the result in a few days, anyone have any ideas if this doesn’t work?

breal01

breal01 It looks like cal/mag for sure. I believe it goes from the bottom and works up so check new growth in a couple days.

KermitKultivate

KermitKultivate Cheers man, gonna keep an eye on them but for some reason it’s only this one having the problems, same medium and same feed. Hopefully sorted now 🙏

IGrowHowIGrow

IGrowHowIGrow This looks like a toxicity due to the curled down tips... what size pot are you using? How often do you water? Medium?

Little bit of a heat problem and really needing the extra space now, removed the hps and just chucked the led cob back in to tackle the heat. I’m thinking I’ve got a phosphorus dif in one but think I have corrected this. Nothing really happening just containing the bush until move day. If anyone knows any more about the plant that’s struggling please let me know what I can do

Some heavy stress training on the NL and re tied the older NL down. Moving these to a bigger tent in 2 weeks when space allows. Split the stem on one, should be sound😅

Took the cuttings before the 4th but moved into tent then, don’t exactly know what the plan is but going to wrap the main stalk around pot then start creating tops from there. 30L fabric posts, 2 pots rock whool, 1 pot 60/40 coco pebbles and 1 pot 50/50 coco rock whool. Being fed ionic nuets coco for coco hydro for whool. Cheap cob light until I can switch to led.

kermitklein Pics 4,5 and 6 are the start of more training and a complete strip, I won’t be using anything from the bottom so why grow it
