First Grow
Winter 22-23
This is my first grow. Seeds purchased from Homegrown Cannabis Company. I’m using a 3 gallon fabric pot. Soil is FFOF. The seed was soaked in water for 8 hours then put into soil for germination. It took 7 days to pop above soil. I have a 24x36x60 tent in basement. I have a heater in tent maintaining temp at 70-75*F. RH at 50. All water is filtered, ph of 6.2 and cal-mag added. I’m using fox farm trio mixed as directed. On day 57 I started using ac infinity self watering bases. They are great. But then I noticed an increase in humidity. Not sure if from watering base or flowering. So instead of dehumidifier I lowered heat to 65* and increased speed of exhaust fan. I was able to get RH below 60. 2.5 oz. Dried. Trimmed. Into Grove Bags.

So I decided to chop. Today at 1:30 pm. Trichomes are mostly cloudy, some clear and few amber. Most fan leaves were pulled off. My other plant is’t done so I have a dry box set up.

I think I created a problem. I was hoping for it to be done soon so i stopped nutes a few weeks ago. But I still have clear trichomes and all the fan leaves are fading. Now I believe I’ve slowed growth. What can I do?

Deeze00’Z All the fan leaves will have wilted as you trim and prepare to cut for dry/curing time anyway. I don’t believe you’ve done anything wrong

Been away for 8 days. Water base was empty and soil was still moist at bottom half. Buds have bulked and added a lot of frostyness. Fan leaves have started to yellow. Trichomes are mostly clear. Today I filled auto water base 4 liters 6.2 ph.

mellobuds Soil is fox farm ocean forest. Which at the beginning I had some burn on my seedling. But it thrived through.

BudJourney How do you like the AC Infinity self watering bases? I’ve been thinking of adding them. Would you recommend? 🌱
mellobuds Definitely a good product. The base is great to have anyway but I also needed ability to have enough water when I go on vacation. If I fill base and soak soil completely then I’ll have no worries.

forkdik Yea it comes in handy later down the road when making seed selections and/crossing things are not always as we remember and I too enjoy looking back and seeing them grow . The more I learn the more I get choosy about what lady’s I bring home lol 😂
