The Adobe project
End of summer indoor grow
More than a few strains in here. Grown all under an HLG 600 R sponsored by HLG. In a 5x5 the start of this project was done mostly due to my impatience to start growing again. I didn’t want to wait to get all my equipment. I wanted to start ASAP. I love growing you see. The date that I started my first round which would be the blackberry kush x Madagascar & the sour tangie is on 7/29/21 my daughter destroyed al my other plants so I had to start a whole new set. Which I started on 8/12/21 I germinated a few more seedlings than I needed but it all worked out. Some are growing faster than others but I am now finding it necessary to hurry along and get the rest of my equipment as they are quickly adapting to their new environment and I have no environmental control at the moment other than lighting. At the moment they are just receiving bottled water and R/O water from the tap. New place I moved in fortunately has what I need for tap water. No way to tell exactly what they are getting as I had to start all over with all my equipment. Eh you live and you learn. I am bent on seeing this through to the end and growing some great ganja! Out of the best plants I will select clones also do some breeding as I have some potent pollen from a past project still. My daughter kinda destroyed one of my projects but lesson learned. Anyways I will have some nice photos for you all and I pray you enjoy my grow as much as I do. Thank you. All positive vibes over here.Anyways did a transplant of a few of the ladies to a 5 gal flora flex potpro sponsored by them. I was supposed to be in this awesome grow company 2021 but things didn’t quite work out how I planned. So it’s all love.🙏🏽🤙🏽🖖🏾✌🏽 still will give my shout outs and thank you’s and show them they aren’t forgotten and mad grateful. I tried giving everything back but no one contacted me so I kept it and am using it as they would want & as I would want. I pray you al enjoy.

Day: 66
So there has been much going on in this tent since the beginning. I have yet to finish the set up and don’t have the rest of my temp control equipment. So we are still in veg until I can properly maintain a proper climate for flower. Have yet to take any clones yet because I don’t have everything I need for that either. Eh what can you say I am doing this grow and taking care of a 6 person family on one budget. So this is a budget grow. We started with 11 plants and are down to 4. We had a small pest problem that came and gone after starving the plants their much need nutes and water and doing a lil IPM. Done some plant training LST & defoliation. Right now no PH has been done at all. Also I have been using tap water because I don’t have R/O water yet. Back to the regular late veg feeding. Temps are dropping as fall/ winter is coming. I only know the name of one of the plants I was able to save. I will only know the other three as time goes on and they are in flower if at all. Going back to feed twice a week. And 2/3 watering a week as the plants are drying faster. I plan to start taking clones from my blackberry x Madagascar as I get more equipment & all the plants check out.

Blazin Fiend Do those jiffy pellets work good have you used before ? I got some but after the fact I hear mix reviews. Like some people say they roots will grow through but not like you would think and gets kinda root bound just a little bit and I’ve also heard once you see a root sticking out it’s prob all throughout and some people talk about cutting the mesh off after the roots are holding all the dirt together if you do it to early you mess it up . Idk just rambling high lol but literally I half assed no quarter asses my very first plant and it was in a jiffy pod but it was like ehh. So idk if they work good or not , I wanted to use cause when you transplant to final pot for auto flowers there’s like no transplant shock for the most part I think idk
EtherealBudGoddess I use them for germination. I make sure the taproot is through the mesh and cut around it. I’ve had good experiences it’s trial and error. I do suggest stretch the fabric after you soak it.
mr.4our2wentydreamz @blazin fiend, it all depends on strain & soil in my personal opinion. I have used them in past but the quality seemed better then. These ones many of my plants didn’t like it and did get root bound. I didn’t cut the bottom and I had I would say 75/25 success. A few of my plants weren’t liking it and had to end them. Then one of my plants stunted. They were pretty much choosy. Some plants liked it some didn’t. I didn’t have soil at the time so I went with those because I became impatient and wanted badly to grow again. Hope that answered your question. I feel it all is based on just trying it out for yourself. I like them. But I will continue my solo cups from now on honestly.
