miggatoni I’d recommend a lot of research and YouTube videos, but the purpose is to increase your bud sites, and in the end overall yield. Here’s the definition “Topping is cutting off the main stalk of a weed plant to force it to grow more bushy, which will allow it to yield more and be healthier. Pruning is removing marijuana leaves and branches that are dead or won't receive much light so that a weed plant can focus its energies on producing buds in other areas.” You want to wait until about the 5th node to do it and see those little gals on both sides of mine that are untouched? Make sure they stay untouched. Some people use their fingers, some scissors, I used my wire snipping tools and just made sure I had it perfect before squeezing. Good luck
