OHIGHOGrows Some of the leaves are getting super dark green almost a blue tint, hopefully the bigger temperature difference between day/night will get some of the color changes I’m looking for. Rastaman 2.0 When I was growing this one by week 7 I started to drop temps when lights are off 10 degrees difference and you will see that purple pop out every week more!!!💯

OHIGHOGrows Yes a bunch during veg. Once buds start forming I let them go for a couple weeks while I allow for vertical growth. Shortly after preflower stage is over I stop for a while. I keep everything well trained to start with and most my nodes get lots of light. I was telling my wife last night I need to get in there with some ✂️.

OHIGHOGrows I like to let the buds get a good start with lots of energy coming from the leaves before I take them off during flower. Just something I have noticed over the years. They seem to grow more vigorously if I keep them on the first few weeks. Then I go ham on them. It’s coming Rastaman 😂

OHIGHOGrows Thanks Rastaman. I appreciate the 💚. I learned LST as a kid (30 years ago) in my uncle’s garden. We didn’t have a name for it then, we were just hiding his plants from the neighbors vision. I was like wow, that turned 1 plant into 12. Topping without topping. I love it. Can’t wait to start my outdoor garden this year.

OHIGHOGrows Thanks. My son got mad at me for taking his 🦕 toys. So I got metal die cast toys for me to play with. Little 💩 was almost crying he couldn’t find his little yellow triceratops. He left it in my car lol. Stay at home dad on disability and he won’t let me play with his toys 😢😢 it’s not fair! 😆😆

OHIGHOGrows Only my second run with autos. I think I am switching over permanently. My photos grow like this too. We’ve talked about the importance of light PPFD, proper watering, and fabric pots, temperature, and humidity in our past conversations. I can’t stress enough about the importance of fluffy, loose soils. Not using those expanding pellets. Go directly from water to soil when you first start your seeds. Or napkins to soil depending on your preference of germinating. The only other “secret” is I only use Great Value purified water. It’s cheap and you can throw away your ph meter. It’s always 6.2-6.6. $5 a month for all the water they can use. When I use synthetic nutrients I use ph perfect from Advanced Nutrients 50-75% strength even for photos. This is my first time using Grow Dots and Recharge.

OHIGHOGrows More tops without topping. All the branches get the same amount of light and become their own plant with a giant flower running up the stem. It’s called low stress training. Autos only get about 3 weeks to veg and topping or fimming causes too much stress and yields suffer. Instead of trimming out the lower leaves because “they don’t amount to much” why not keep all your bud by giving them adequate light throughout the plant. I just harvested 4 today if you want to see how they turn out by bending them. No high stress techniques like lollipop, supercropping, or heavy defoliation. These techniques work great for photos too. Increasing your yield.

OHIGHOGrows In Ohio it was December 7th. 30 days after the vote. House dismisses every bill they try to push reducing plant count…. So far. 6 per adult and 12 per household that has at least 2, 21 year olds.

Jimbo Norman These are growing fast. Curious what your pot size and room temp/rh is - do you mind sharing?

OHIGHOGrows Not at all, Rastaman 2.0 helped me tremendously with my watering in the germination stage. My starter tent is a 2x2 with an adiding 250 watt LED. Vented into my larger tent. I got a chart for autoflowers from a rep at 420fastbuds that showed exactly every spec for each week (except watering amounts) I’m using 3 gallon fabric pots with ProMix HP. My RH is at 82% at night (lights out) and 70% when the lights are on. Temp is 68-75 night/day. PPFD was at 210 (min setting for the light) at dirt level until I seen third set of true leaves sprouting. Then I turned the light up to 25% power giving them a reading of 400 PPFD at the top of the plant. I would say that was around day 5 ish. No CO2 usage or anything. I did rake it 3TBS of GrowDots a few days ago. Never used them before, figured I’d give them a shot. Usually I’m all about Advanced Nutrients, but if I can get comparable results with the dots it will make watering easier. I do like the mad scientist method of mixing your own nutrient solution, but if I’m going to start perpetual harvest because of plant count laws, the dots would make everything easier. (Fingers crossed they work as advertised and reviewed)

Jimbo Norman Very cool - thanks for sharing! Rastaman also gave me some sage watering advice for the early seedling stage. I have a knack for flooding the bucket too soon so I’m doing my best to water them sparingly and encourage root growth. I always feel like my plants grow more slowly than others so it’s super helpful to hear what your setup is. I might make a few small adjustments based on your settings. Would be interested to know if you see a difference in growth when applying the GrowDots. Thanks again!

Avengers From day 8 to 10 you fed them twice? Is that nutrients or what is that? I’m assuming you mix the nutes in water shake and feed that Monday or when you water it gets that mix though the whole week? Or nutes every other few days?

OHIGHOGrows Gave them 1/2 L each .5 and in 3 gallon pots.

Rastaman 2.0 They are 4 days 1/2 liter water is to much when giving that quantity you will overwater her.when soil dry start with 200ml in circles like you are doing and move to the edge let roots follow the water let soil dry between watering.when they are 14 days you give the 1/2 liter to the plants and by week 3 go up to 1 liter each I grow in 3 gallons the 5 you can give them 2 liters each when they are 21 days.
