Day 6 of flower. Did some height training on the Church with the pull of a few strings. After tomorrow’s update I’ll probably only post on the end day of the weeks flower cycle. Getting busy at work so won’t have much time to update.

Day 5 of flowering cycle. Topped up both reservoirs with 10 litres each of half/half veg/flower nutrient including bloom booster. DM range First pistils coming through on Chronic Widow (pic3)

Day 4 of flowering cycle. Since topping up nutrient tanks the Chronic Widow has half drank her reservoir.

First day of flowering cycle 12/12. Still sitting under the Vipar Spectra leds now running full capacity (still under 600w for both lights). Ordered my new hood for my MH/HPS setup to cover the whole 5x5 area. I’m excited so it can’t come soon enough.

Day 39 for the Chronic Widow. Church manifold is sitting pretty even at 11 inches above the grow pot. No need for scrog nets with a wide manifold and soft ties to keep everything where it should be.

Vipar Spectra lighting the Church and Chronic Widow. Reservoirs will be refreshed tomorrow evening on both plants to last the 2 weeks into the end of week 1 of flower then i change feeding to the Dutch Masters Flowering range including boosters.

The Church and Chronic Widow (day 35 for CW) now on the led side with a light each as I’m running HPS on 18/6 over the California Dream and Gold Leaf plants to add some height as I’m happy with the number of laterals they have. Topped up the Church reservoir : 40ml/10litres of both Dutch Masters A+B plus 2.5ml of Dutch Masters Zone.

Decided I’m going to initiate flowering this time next week. I’ll replant my seedlings on Tuesday and give them 5 days to acclimatise before the switch.

Pinned the branches down again as they were growing out of control. At least 2 or 3 more weeks until the other plants will be sufficient height to initiate flowering.

Topped reservoir with 8 litres of standard strength Dutch Masters grow A+B ph 6.2-6.5. All branching pinned down until colas 1-4 (outer growth near last topping zone) grow out. Have to keep this restrained another 30-40 days until the younger plants are larger.

Topped after the 3rd nodes , cleaned up all growth from 2nd nodes. Manifold base complete. 8 colas to grow out before switching to flower in around 5 weeks when the seedlings are larger.

Grown quite a lot in the 2 days I was away, but not quite enough to start phase 2 of my manifold. Maybe 2 more days.

After 1 day the stem seems to be repairing itself well. I’ll keep the splint on it until I top the plant again.

Split the stem separating the start of the manifold. Had to patch it up quick (pic2) ☹️ Full deleaf apart from top lead for the back plant. Just need it to concentrate on making those next tops to cut. Guess I’ll see how it goes, it’s a better patch job then I’ve done in the past so it should be alright. I won’t update a few days now until my seedlings get transplanted as I prepared the pots today.

Discovered I’d started the manifold all wrong, I started from the 6th node not the 3rd..... note to self- don’t rush when gardening bent. Wasted 2 weeks of veg but oh well.

Raised the light yesterday to keep the optimal distance from the plants as the one with larger leaves started to get curl from excess heat. Last 24 hours room temps: Min temperature 23.5c- humidity 65% Max temperature 31.7- humidity 52% Still need a few days regrowth to see how the topping went on the back plant.

Praying to the sun god Ra. 15cm tall for the rear plant 14.5cm for the front. Rear plant was the runt with smaller leaves early on but caught up. Rear plant still has smaller leaves but the growth is quite uniform I’d say. Just topped both plants 🌱

Loving this strain at the moment, it’s growing quite nicely. I’ll probably start training in the coming weeks. I’m going to manifold these 2 and more than likely keep the NFT plants single colas in a sea of green.

Added 5 litres of water to top up both reservoirs. Both plants have the same internode spacing but the closer plant has more growth from the main stem and larger leaves, further plant has smaller leaves but is slightly taller by 15mm.

Plants have grown to almost as wide as the feeding ring. I can certainly see the difference in the last few days.

The Church both placed into a system 40 (40x40cm 20 litre reservoir and 19 litre pot) The 2 random seeds are still waiting for their outdoor pots I’ll do this weekend.

Added 2 mushroom mycelium co2 bags, it’s only next to plants for display purposes as it’s sits under the NFT channels so the co2 is sucked up through the canopy (that doesn’t exist yet lol 😂). These bags are meant to last 6 months and are reasonably cheap plus I got 2 for 1 during the month of January! Coupled with my frequent visits inside the tent serenading the plants it should bump up co2 units to that of expensive tank setups. I had read some rather shit reviews on similar products but I’m not relying on those bags for bumper crops, they will help though, I’m relying on my knowledge of botany and trying to maintain my little ecosystem the best I can with these days ever changing weather patterns.

Transplanting to growlush system 40 this weekend if my other seeds (5x California Dream, 5x Chronic Widow,5x Bergmans Goldleaf) arrive before then. If not they are going outdoors.
