Frog Hollow Inaugural Grow 2020
Summer From Hell
Fox Farm Happy Frog and Fox Farm Trio with Cal Magic supplement. Later on in flower I’ll switch to CannaBoost and TerraFlores throughout flowering. All plants grown in 5 gallon pots except there are three 24K plants in one 7 gallon fabric pot, and the BlueDream auto and Bubba Kush are in one 7 gallon fabric pot. All plants were started in a 4x4 tent under V2 100 watt HLG LED light. Walter and Howard - 4/27 - Gorilla Glue 1,2,3 - 5/3 24K - 5/20 BlueDream Auto - 5/25 Plants were started in a 4x4 tent under a HLG v2 100 LED. It is going to be used to start plants each season and for future clone projects. I killed 7 of the 8 Walter’s and at least 4 Howard’s. The reason they have those names is I’m not sure where they came from. Walter could be Champion City by PTS, but I’m certain it came from a PTS grown flower that came from a dispensary. a 4x4 tent under a HLG v2 100 LED. Day: 135
I gave the Bubba Kush a little trim. There is so much debate over whether or not, and how much to prune. Kyle Kushman says never prune more than 1/3rd of the total foliation at any one time. Jorge day DONT PRUNE THE LEAVES because they have nutes in them that they use during the last two weeks of flower.

Day: 126
Sadly I had to spray spinosad because of thrips, white flies, and aphids😡😡😡😡😡 I know you’re not supposed to spray buds this late, but it’s either that or lose the entire crop to these bastards.

This will be the last week that I move them around. I don’t want any confusion on their part as to whether or not winter is coming😊 I also want to tie down some branches permanently until the end of this harvest.

August 8th- The Auto is 77 days old, as is its potmate Bubba Kush. This rookie learned a simple, but valuable lesson. Notice the bleached out fabric container- that salt from the nutes, and my well water leaves that but not in this case.. They were 2200ppm! So I flushed liked a madman and we’re good to go in 700’s...for now.

Relapse So when you water plants that small in a pot that big, do you pour in the middle or around the edge? Do you fill it up or just add a little bit of water till it gets big?
mandoVol Sorry to just now see your question. That’s a good question BTW. It’s certainly not ideal, I’ve heard you want to water the edge of the container to make the the root seek water, but fabric container dry out quicker so there’s that factor. I think the golden rule that served me well is, “never water wet soil.” That’s a pretty broad statement, but you combine that with the weight and you’ll intuitively figure it out. I have a list of things under the heading: In order of importance, what would I like to do over? 1. Perfect the art of having your seeds pop at the same time, sprout and the same time, and grow evenly in the first two weeks in the dirt. All the rest is just fluff IMO. Once you make it to about four weeks, then you can get down to the fun stuff of LST whatever method of LST you choose. My number two thing would be better symmetry. I want to try main lining too.
