alwaysgrowfuego We do 36 hours of darkness transitioning into flowering at my work. Not sure the science behind it, but our master grower seems to believe in it haha
Prodigy I've heard of a 24 hour dark period, 36 seems overkill. The only real reason I could see doing it is to try and guarantee they start flowering. I wouldn't do this honestly just switch 12/12 worst case scenario your grow takes a few more days. Just a Patience game.
