Been curing for a good week now. Not a bad yield for my first time. Quality over quantity! Shooting for both with my Jack Herer grow now.

Mrs.buddarsworth You did a great job. This is my first grow too.
Foemob I’ve been following you’re grow sense day 1 this is a great grow what kind of soil did you use ?
RealDeal213 Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Thanks, I can’t believe how well it turned out for my first grow. Must be the Royal Queen Seeds!
Day: 96
Harvest day is tomorrow! Last pics before she gets chopped.

Day: 93
I trimmed off all the fan leaves and started to flush with plain distilled water. I’m going to switch to 14/10 because I heard it helps the buds tighten up in the last couple days. The plan is to harvest Sunday.

Day: 90
Before I left memorial weekend I noticed a few leaves started to get some spots and turn yellow. I came back to this. Anyone have any idea what is going on? I was assuming nutrient deficiency when it first started but now I’m not sure. Do I harvest soon? 10 more days will be 7 weeks of flower.

Day: 82
Buds filling out nicely. Flowering has been smooth so far. A little nute burn from the last round but just the very tips.

Day: 78
Running the fan 24/7 now. It’s keeping the humidity low and taking the smell away. She’s very strong smelling!

Day: 70
Got the humidity under control by running the exhaust more and opening the bottom two vents. A little worried about temp fluctuation now. I go from 83 lights on to 65 at night. Waited for the moment the lights went out to take some pics

Day: 67
Did some trimming to get some flowers out of the shade. That will be the last I trim and I’m in my 3rd week of flower now. Looking stellar. Hopefully will stop growing height wise as I’m running out of head room.

Day: 63
I looked in this morning and my tent was soaked. Reading online I think the tent is much warmer than the outside so it’s creating condensation. I haven’t been running my exhaust fan at all at night since I was afraid of heat loss. I will change that with a couple cycles planned for night time now. I also read to cover the tent with quilts to stop some of the condensation. Any of this sound like good ideas? I don’t have much time, but the plant is looking great.

Day: 61
Left for the weekend and came back to an explosion of growth. Still looking healthy

Day: 57
Starting to look pretty! Still struggling with the humidity. Been running the exhaust once an hour for 10 mins. It creates crazy negative pressure so I’m afraid to run it for longer than that. Looking for some advice.

Chase How far away do you keep your light?
RealDeal213 It was about 18” but she grew and now it’s probably 14”. Trying to keep at least 12”
Chase Thank you
Day: 52
@Wonderdog came over and took a bottom node for some cloning. Need to trim up the rest of the nodes in the AM. Still looking for tips to control humidity.

Day: 50
Officially in flower on Day 50. Trimmed the bottom two nodes after this picture. I’m struggling keeping the humidity down. Sitting at 75% which is way too high. Took my humidifier out a week or two ago. Can’t figure out why it’s so high. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Day: 47
14” from soil to top and 20” wide. Debating whether or not to put into flower. Can’t get much wider for the space. Took the bottom node off since this picture.

ClandestineWestOz Transplant into a bigger pot soon and keep her in veg a little longer if you have the room in your tent.
genghis_quan Agreed^^. By the time your plant is as wide as the pot is a rule of thumb to transplant. You could easily move it to a 3-5 gallon and get a better yield
RealDeal213 It’s in a 5 gallon already

Still booming. So wide

Day: 42
She has exploded with growth in the past 2 days since I clipped the bottom 4 nodes. She’s as wide as the tent now! Looking for advice...what signs am I looking for when it’s ready to switch to flower? Was planning on going another 2 weeks or so in veg.

Day: 40
Took the bottom 4 nodes out that were shaded. Followed it up with a round of big bloom.

genghis_quan Great job defoliating!! Looking great friend
Day: 35
Looking for any trimming advice. I’m sure the bottom leaves could go but I’m too nervous.

genghis_quan Take a look at mine lol. I’ve been pushing it for my first grow. Anything that is in shade take it off! Look up manifolding, topping, and lst.
genghis_quan If you’re wondering when to flower. Since you haven’t topped, try to flower at about 1/2 the height of what your last desired plant to be (including distance away from light). Some strains grow 2-3 times taller (most likely 2) during flower
genghis_quan Think about how much energy has been wasted on the smaller leaves!! All of those stems and leaves thickening and getting big. As long as you leave a couple big fans leaves like I have you will still have enough photosynthesis. Don’t be afraid to mess around a bit you can only learn!! I started w 5 plants and only ended up keeping 1 of them and planted a fem seed too.

So far so good. She had 2 teaspoons of Grow Big and a half gallon of water last night for dinner.

RealDeal213 Looking for any trimming advice.
Day: 29
The leaves are back to normal (no longer droopy). Soil is still moist so I’ll wait a day before I add nutes. Stem is thickening nicely though.

Day: 26
Transplant day finally! All good to go in the 5 gallon pot. Watered her up and will add nutes on the next watering
6 years ago
RealDeal213 *note to self - the leaves were a little saggy/droopy before transplanting. Usually signs of over watering. I probably used the spray bottle too often
Day: 21
She’s starting to smell. Hooked up the carbon filter today.

Day: 19
Will most likely transplant tomorrow.

I will probably transplant in a few days

Day: 12
I left for the weekend which made me nervous. Made sure to water and fill the humidifier before I left. Came back to a healthy looking girl. Wondering when I should transplant? Any advice would be appreciated!

Day: 8
Day 8 update. Doing all the same stuff as before.
Day: 6
The leaves are getting wider. I started running the exhaust fan for 5 mins every 3 hours to take a little heat away. I’ve only been misting the soil with a spray bottle every 5-6 hours. The high humidity (75%) seems to keep the soil moist. Wondering when I should add nutes. I have the Fox Farms 3 pack.

Day: 4
Took the bag off and she’s growing a little taller. Keeping good humidity and temps. However I left the bag in the tent and it puddled water on top and the humidity got up to 99%. Oops. Back down to normal levels after running the exhaust for 2 minutes.

Day: 2
Already have a sprout after only a day in soil. Must be the Ocean Forest working it’s magic! Leaving the bag on for one more day I think.

Hoober Homeboy got himself a sprout and now he’s flexing on the Instagram. Let’s see it in 2 weeks.
RealDeal213 Flexing on Instagram? I posted a photo to Bud...which is what this App is for.
Hoober True. Ok you got me there.
Day: 1
Got a half inch taproot today with the good old paper towel method. Just put it in the soil this morning. Humidity is at ~60 and temp is 78 degrees. Will keep the bag on until she gets out of the ground. Leaving the veg light on for 18/6.
