boredgrower The pictures are a bit deceiving… much more orange, and the leaves were mostly yellow/dark green. 8 day hang, almost 21 days on cure. Photos tomorrow. First smoke report.

Rastaman 2.0 I would start flushing bro they are almost done.ph water til harvest is good those nutrients your going to waste them she won’t take them anymore I’ve being there and done that.she is amazing 🤩 great work 🫡
Rastaman 2.0 I don’t know what amounted wate you was giving her that amount 2 or 3 times more but just ph water let her run off let soil dry do it again after 3 or 4 times go to normal amount of water ph til harvest.get that salt out of her for better and smoother taste.

GrNadeGrade 💣 Concur with Rastaman 2.0. In my opinion you should never use pics of the sugar leaves as an indicator of when to harvest (sugar leaves are 1st to develop trichomes, thus 1st to mature) Inspect the bud itself (different levels on the plant) to determine ripeness. Good luck 🍀

Sorry for the lack of updates, busy busy with the holidays!!! I flushed her 5 days ago, 1 gallon of 6.5ph. I also switched the lights to 24hr. Just upped her nutes on this first feed after the flush.

Roots have reached the bottom of the 5gal pot. Having to rotate a couple times a day to make sure the roots don’t go into the water base or adhere to the watering ropes. Sucking down water and nutes like crazy now… may do a flush next feeding as she’s drinking a gallon every 2-3 days now. Looking fire though! A little droopy this morning as she just woke up 15mins ago…. I’m on a 20/4 schedule…. Trying to push this girl and see if I can’t finish her up by mid January!!

More LST and defoliation. Smells GAS already. Drinking about a gallon out of the self watering base (all that the tank holds) every 3ish days. I’ve also found that SCROG isn’t possible with these auto watering pots as you need to clean the base and refilling would be quite messy, so I opted for straight LST.🔥 🌳 💨

Doubled flora micro and flora bloom today, definitely showing signs of pre flower 🌸 need to do some additional training tomorrow! One plant has almost filled my tent with training thus far! She’s strong and healthy. Starting to get that stank we all love. I’m thinking this girl is going to be super dank.

Bent main stem in half, down to 2nd node this morning. As well as the other big stem on the other side. Crazy bounce back. It’s like I didn’t even do anything. Refill the self water tank tomorrow, adjusting pH to 6.2-6.3.

Having a little issue with pH, tested it at 6.0 after adding nutes before pouring into water base. Maybe I rushed it and added nutes to soon, hopefully will recover. I’m going to take the nute water off and replace with pH balanced water.

Rastaman 2.0 What kind of nutes you use? I’m a big fan of fastbuds and they autoflowers can take a lot of nutes.

boredgrower I’m using general hydroponics for this run, I’ve used fox farms in the past…. I was looking to defoliate the big fan leaves anyways, which I did as those were the ones that were affected, and checking on her now, she’s much bushier than this morning. I didn’t end up switching to plain water.

Seeing a bit of discoloration on bottom fan leaves since adding nutes to the self watering pot, top soil also looks extremely dry which is difficult as a grower to wrap my head around, knowing that the plant is feeding from the bottom. The water gauge has dropped significantly since initial watering into the tub so I know it is working. I’m sure once the tap root gets deep enough, everything will change rapidly. Just strange to me. Filling out nicely though, not much for vertical growth yet.

TheSocialGrower Have you tried covering the soil surface like an earthbox? Earthbox users, which is also a bottom water setup, swear by the soil cover. Looking good so far regardless!
boredgrower Are you talking about some sort of burlap material or something along those lines?
TheSocialGrower Yup, anything to cover the surface. Living soil ppl swear by it, I’m sure it’d do good for your root zone biology even if you’re doing salt nutes.

jamies-garden Is it really 337am there!? Also. Have you looked into those little $10 “travel humidifiers” the usb ones that like stick in a bottle. Works WONDERS for really small applications like this where you just need to keep a seedling happy etc.

Nothing yet! Need to get humidifier going, it will be here Friday. Removed the 4 CFL lights, I checked my tent a few hours after turning them on and it was 112 degrees in there. Glad I caught it.

LeChron James A good way to start a seed is to cut a clear plastic bottle in half (a 2l soda bottle for example) and put it over the seed. No need to humidify a whole tent until the seed pops. This humidity dome will help keep the soil temp and humidity where you need them
