Finally harvest time! I now understand why everyone dreads trimming. 20 hours I’ll never get back!

Flowering week 8. Not long to go now! Things are going well, but it’s looking like one plant might be ready sooner than the other.

Sorry for the super blurple. Buds are fattening up nicely. Got some new white pistils starting to form on some buds which is a little concerning. Perhaps too much light on some of the taller colas.

Day: 78

F28. Sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve been a slack cunt. Things are going well! I rigged up a SCROG net at start of flower but I feel like I didn’t follow through with the LST so it’s basically just getting in the way. Roots are looking very rooty and buds are starting to form. Just added Bud XL and I’m interested to see if it does what it says.

Day: 50

Did a res change today. Week 7 of veg and hoping to flip to 12/12 next Sunday! Not sure if the roots look healthy or not but there’s a lot of them.

Metelis The roots are looking good.

Day: 40

A nice spready shot of my attempt at a manifold. I think I did Ok but still early days. Still dealing with root issues due to some stupidly hot days (44 deg C or 111 F). Chucked in some Pythoff today so hopefully that’ll sort shit out.

Day: 34

Topped the big bitch again to create a nice manifold. Leaving the little bitch for a few days and I’ll top her too. Started LST on big bitch.

New growth is taking off since the topping. One plant is still tiny compared to the other. Some people would probably pull it at this point but I just don’t have the heart to unless it causes problems. I came to the conclusion all my problems have been due to root rot caused by light in the reservoir. I thought it was light proof but apparently not. I picked up some sticky backed foam and went nuts with it.

Topped the girls today.

OregonWeezy How do you determine when to top?

Day: 24

We have a clear winner when it comes to growth! The second plant is healing slowly but has some catching up to do. Gonna top the healthy plant soon but might give the sickly one more healing time before I chop her head off.

Day: 18

This plant is less affected than the other (2nd pic)

Day: 17

Babies are chugging along and I’ve run into my first ever problem. Brown spots on the leaves 😱 From some brief research I’m suspecting it’s calcium deficiency. I raised the pH slightly to 6.11 and I’ll see how the new growth looks. I also raised the light a bit in case that’s the cause. Let’s hope this is a minor thing and I’m not screwed.

Did a water change. pH 5.7 and the babies are coming along nicely. Time for a feed!

Day: 5

Seeds have sprouted. Adjusted the pH today as it was slightly high at 6.6. Brought it down to 5.8. Waiting for the second set of leaves to form and then I will add the nutrients.

Day: 1

Seeds germinated and transplanted to Rockwool cubes. Time to get things started!

Day: 0

Soaked seeds in a glass of slightly warm water for ~24 hours. Transferred to moist folded paper towel and covered overnight. Tap roots formed by the morning.
