Pins have began to pop! Spraying daily 4-6 times with distilled h20. Introduced FAE ( fresh air exchange ) with holes on bottom of tub for air intake and large holes, higher up on the tub, allowing gasses and hot air to be released. (gasses and hot air rise). We’ll see?

stalepeep Sorry for my ignorance but what is that?
trichometheatre First of all- absolutely no need to apologize my friend ☮️💚🧬 we are all learning here!!! Anyway, this is mycelium colonizing the substrate (rye berries), that will then be grounded up and used for a bulk spawn of mushrooms 🍄
stalepeep Wow ! thank you for the lesson!

710.seth Let it colonize in your tent. Adds CO2
710.seth Most CO2 bags are mycelium actually. Pro tip
trichometheatre Well ahead of you my friend! Lol I don’t know if you saw the time for this inoculation but it’s been only 18 days I’ve never seen anything like that and I would have to say it is due to the tents environment; aided with a heating pad, of course, underneath! The CO2 bags are made with oyster mushroom spores-since that is a extremely strong strain of mycelium, if you do inject a CO2 bag, you will be wasting your spores! The mycelium that is developed by the oyster mushrooms are MUCH stronger than any other spores trying to compete! Oyster mushrooms will take over! I have tried this also, myself! I thought it would be perfect since the bag has already been inoculated, but thank you I really appreciate that input! The one positive is now I take my used co2 bags, throw it in a 2 gallon bucket with drilled 1/2 inch holes, toss a cover on, and mist now n then. You’ll see mushrooms emerge, and keep emerging for a very long time! My boys love them, but I don’t have a pallet for fungi. ☮️💚🧬
