Kinda lost track of the day # Drying went fine. hung all the colas after a wet-trim and put the small buds in paper bags. On the morning of the 4th day (today), I retrimmed and placed in a jar for curing. I’ll be burping them all week. Might split into two smaller jars for the small buds too. Smells good, purple colours came out hard after the flush. I should have flushed 2 weeks earlier but oh well. I did the 3 days of darkness thing before harvest and she definitely packed on some extra trichomes I noticed. Neat. Haven’t weighed yet but looks close to a QP *** was just over 5 ozs, super happy with the smoke 😇😇

Final hard flush today.

Day: 116
May 18 Cleaned up the tent some. Removed the humidifier. Removed the trellis. I could have done that awhile ago I guess. I removed the kind led too so heat is 75-79 usually, HMU if you wanna buy it lol I trimmed the buds, hopefully won’t stunt her that much, it didn’t really before. But ya hopefully the buds benefit from the extra light. I think it will.

Day: 114
May 16 2nd flush today: run off ppm was 1500 She’s almost done (I know I’ve said this a few times lol) Next week I’ll just do a hard flush until her soils ppm is under 150 at least, then I’ll let her dry out for a few days and then harvest time!

She’s been steady. Xl750 is at like 25/10/100, with the ac lol

Day: 104
May 8th Temp: 84 Rh: 42% Temps have been fluctuating between 77-84. Just lowering the red leds usually solves that. I’m flushing her right now, my goal is to get her soils ppm below 100 before I harvest. The buds are stacked alright, trichs are pretty milky right now, waiting for that amber 🤭 Probably could have easily doubled my yield if the temps were stable and if I watered her correctly from start to finish.. not bad for a first go tho
7 years ago
Day: 97
Temp: 79 Rh: 34% Watered 10 L With just 20mL overdrive and 1tbsp of Epsom salts. Ppm: 650 Ph: 8 Will start flushing next water. All the leaves got toasted when I was gone. I pulled those and rearranged some of the netting. Took out the black fan because it was really dusty and I had to pick some crap out of my buds. The Ac is working better now (shortened the ducting and that saves the motor energy), so I’m able to turn the reds up a few points.

Day: 91
82 33% Going away TIL next tues. watered about 4L with no nutes. Ph: 7 Should be fine TIL then. Adjusted fan speeds and placement, slightly better circulation to combat the rising spring-temps
7 years ago
Day: 90
Temp: 84 RH: 33% Gave up on this plant, the temps got out of hand 😪 AC sucks.. should have rigged up watercooling instead. That being said, the buds are looking decent, though the bottom fan leaves are pretty crisp. Can see the troubles its having from the soils ph. My next grow will most likely be organic. Fuck liquid nutes.
Day: 88
Temp: 84 RH: 28% Temps are rising with spring weather so I’m trying to find the right outlet for this Ac. I’ve got it plugged into my balcony’s circuit and it hasn’t tripped yet 💪🏼 Turned lights back to 100%. Watered 10L: ppm 1660 ph 6.5 20 BC 20 BB 20 B52 40 sb 65 drops ph+ (wouldn’t go over 6.5 🤬) ** it tripped the circuits 😒
7 years ago
Day: 87
Temp: 81 RH: 38% Think she’s gonna take a week or 2 longer than I expected.. there’s a ton of space to fill on the stems still. Middle buds coming through nicely since defoliating though. Soil is drying slower too since the temps are a little lower. She suffered a lot last week when the Ac blew out for too long :(((

Day: 86
Temp: 79 Rh: 38% Angled lights around 35°, not sure why I didn’t think of this before 🤬

Day: 85
Temp: 81 RH: 35% 3rd leaf strip. Noticed the branches are thickest on the outer-front sides. Fixed some branches positions, shouldn’t need to touch them anymore. Turned the xl750 down to 58/50/100 & set timer.
Day: 83
Temp: 86 RH: 35% Turned Ac off: kept overloading circuits.. Fan leaves were pretty ducked when I came in. Watered 11L: Ppm 1600 ph 7-7.5 30 mL SB 20 b52 20 bud candy 10 overdrive 20 big bud 60 drops ph+ Raised lights 2”; 18-21” above

Day: 82
Temp: 82 RH: 35% Ac has knocked the power out a few times, so the temps have been inconsistent slightly this week. Hope she doesn’t suffer too much. Ready for watering tomorrow or the next. Probably defoliate a bit aswell.
Day: 81
Temp: 86 RH: 35% Room that the ac is in is too big. Need to move ac into middle of room because the tent and ac are 20-25 ft apart. Ex. Fan is on high and should stay there now. I like Having a slight vacuum effect on the tent, and the temp is most stable like that. Adjusted fans so that they’re moving the air in the bottom & top; before I was just pointing them on the plants & lights. The fan on the top half of the tent is set to medium to passively cool my lights. When I left the temp was 81. Raised lights- 17-20” above now. Finally got a level so I fixed that for my ocd lol Can see the buds fattening up now and trichs are stacking up.

Day: 79
Temp: 81 RH: 40% Installed 12000 btu portable AC. Connected ducting to balcony vent, runs when the lights are on. Set to 65 degrees. Turned xl750 up to 100/75/100 Trained a bit this morning: lowered the trellis a bit so the top buds get more light and support. I Started using non toxic disposable gloves while training. Terminal buds are forming nicely all the way down the branches, 3rd photo shows the new buds coming up.

Temp: 81 RH: 40% Perky after the watering. Buds are coming along nicely after the defoliation. I lowered the lights about 1” since my heat has gone down a bit. 16-19” above the canopy now. Being careful not to stress them with the light, I’m just really trying to find the sweet spot for them..

Cjh807 Looks awesome!!
Day: 76
Temp: 84 RH: 40% House was warmer today. Opened the windows. Tied the tall branches down. Buds are forming almost all the way down the plant, just trying to get more light down there now by continuously training. Some buds are pretty crowded and I can’t place them anywhere better. Noticed the RH is about 60% at the root zone. I moved the temp monitor so it’s level with the pot. Now it reads- Temp: 81 RH: 50% Getting frostier. Ready for feed tomorrow. I actually made a chart with all the feedings I’ve given and the rest I have to do; it’s not as bad as I thought. Couple mistakes but I see that now! Im on track now with the feeding ratios. The top leaves are hella dark green, but that’s cus sensibloom a& b has a combined ration of 5-4-8 I guess.

Day: 75
Temp: 82 RH: 40% Fixed xl750 timers. Now it’s 50/50/100 on max. I set the timer to turn blue light off gradually, by 830 pm it’s off and it’s just red and white light left for 30 Mins. Was reading about how plants respond to spectrums and decided they might like going to sleep better this way since this is how the sun spectrum boosts during sunset. Getting an AC this weekend hopefully, then I can crank up the reds to 100% Green Colours on some small shoots are getting funky

Day: 74
Temp: 81 RH: 35% Turned both osc fans up 1 level. Tucked a lot of leaves. No more newly burnt pistils. The foliage is filling in, can definitely see the advantage to leaf stripping. Getting hard to take a pic of it all.

Budsfolife Looks very sweet and know it’s getting that dank smell. I like what I’m learning thx.
Day: 73
Temp: 82 RH: 37% Set timer for xl750- now it’s 50/100/100. Temps are about 3 degrees higher than usual this week but she doesn’t seem to mind. Still looking for a cheap AC & dehumidifier. Some more pistils were burning, so I raised the light 1” again. (18” above) Pretty much redid my whole netting; spread all the branches out more & tucked the tall middle branches. It will fatten up the middle of the branches more now. It’s a lot more even now. Cut a few leaves blocking light.
Day: 72
Temp: 82 RH: 38% Turned up to 50/100/100 (+50 blue light): hoping it helps the front side grow another inch or 2. Hlg is defs falling behind a bit. Some of the tallest growth on that Side has a few burnt (or just orange) pistils. I’ll raise the light tomorrow (tall shoots were at 16”).

Day: 71
Temp: 81 RH: 30% Removed a few more leaves blocking light. Gotta try and keep my hands off her for the next few. Over 30 tips counted.. too much. There’s some weak growth too that I’ll cut on my next leaf strip. Soil dried out a little fast than expected. 10L feed: 20 mL sensibloom 10mL b52 10mL bud candy Tsp epsom salt 25 drops ph up Ppm: 850 Ph: 6-6.5 Added 2-3 L plain water after initial watering so I could test my run off. Run off ph: 5.5 🤥 run off ppm: 670 I’ll keep testing my run off ppm & ph until they’re at the desired levels.
Day: 70
Temp: 82 Rh: 38% Noticed the buds on the QB side are a little less developed than the kind side. I think it could be that QB is getting a better spread than the kind, thus adding 200% light to kind led’s side of the canopy, meanwhile QB’s side of the canopy wasn’t getting much of kinds light. Orrr 300 watts of qb isn’t as effective as kinds 450 watts. Wait and see. Growth looks much better tho. Pleased. Pushed lights back a few inches to spread light over her better. Light is 17-20” from bottom/top canopy.

Day: 68
Temp: 79 Humidity: 38% Foliar fed in morning under leaves. My canopy is a little uneven so I’m trying to pull the taller stalks outwards but I can’t do much else but maybe install a second trellis net next week. Doesn’t seem like she minded the haircut. Tons of new growth forming in the middle and the tops Grew another inch overnight so 🤷🏻♂️

Day: 67
Temp: 81 Humidity: 40% First leaf strip. I cut about 70% off of leaf and small new growth + lollipopped the bottom half. Left the top leaves and thickest fan leaves (felt they were necessary for backup power reserves). Took a few cuttings as well and left in water. Lowered osc fans. To low Looks great. Excited to see how she reacts to the haircut.

Day: 64
Temp: 81 Humidity: 48% Humidity surge from the wet soil I guess. Turned up ex. Fan to high. Looks good, bouncing back from the flush already. The soil is gonna take forever to dry out again so maybe I’ll look into a good foliar feed to mix up for the week. Xl750 was at 50/45/30 for some reason- switched to 50/50/100. Should be good unless the timers are malfunctioning. Raised the light again. Maintaining 19-20” Foliar fed (cal and mag). Gonna mix another stronger foliar feed. Last 2 Photos show coverage of kind 750 vs hlg 300

Day: 58
Temp: 81 Humidity: 35% Humidity was at 61% before the lights went on, so I plugged the humidifier into the timers with the hlg and exhaust. Raised hlg to 19-20”. Turned xl750 up to 40/40/100. Turned ex. Fan to low. Attached 2 small pc fans to the intake vent on the bottom of the tent. I’m going to raise the tent temps a bit over the next few days to dry the soil out faster so I can flush ASAP. Tucked and weaved, cut 2 leaves blocking light and pulled 2 dead ones. Lots of lime-green growth, guess it’s just from stretching? Filling out pretty nicely though. Excited to give her a leaf strip after I flush and feed her this week. Last pic shows the light interference between xl750 and hlg 300. Will be interesting to see the bud differences from each light.
Day: 57
Temp: 82 Humidity: 36% Tuck and weave. Lowered osc fan. Turned xl750 on to 30/30/100 Lowered ex. fan a bit. So she will need a flush next water (day 62 or 63). I flushed my other strain and it took 2.6x the volume of water:soil to get the soil ph up to 7. With this math I’ll need about 69 litres of water to get LB’s soil nuetral again and then I’ll top her off with a weaker dose of nutrients to kick her off right.

Day: 56
Temp: 82 Humidity: 30% The light is better at 19”. 12/12 light flip tonight. Switched on red led to 100%- 100/100/100. Calcium deficiency improvements. There’s already trichomes on some leaves. Temps climbed up to 88 since I turned xl750 to max.. looking into buying an AC. Turned xl750 off for now though and it went back down to 82.

Day: 55
*edit* should have flushed right about here, then introduced bloom nutes. the time between watering shouldn’t exceed more than 7 days, otherwise that’s just overwatering. From day 4-63, it took 9 days for the soil to dry out; That’s only 7 feedings in 9 weeks lol should be 1 feed per week e.g. feeding on Sunday, soil is dry by Thursday. Watering (no nutes) on Thursday, and then it will be ready for another watering by Sunday. This way the plant isn’t being overwatered or overfertilised. Ofc the sched fluctuates with the plant size and temps I was doing 10-14 L waterings, when I really only needed to saturate the soil (that is actually in contact with the roots I mean) every 2-3 days. Temp: 84 Humidity: 30% Ppm: 1070 Ph: 6.5 Runoff ph: 5.5 Ducting fell off ex fan and boosted temps up to 90 in the morning. Raised light to 19” above. Watered 12L : 36 mL Sensi-Bloom, 20 mL b52, 3 mL rapidstart, 12 mL budcandy, 48 drops ph up Watered 1 L at a time with bigger intervals to saturate soil better- there was less run off Watered an extra 2 L of ro water (ph7) after the feed. Trying to push out the more acidic soil in the bottom so that she takes in her calcium and mag. Would like to invest in blu mats soon, or some type of irrigation system. Next feed I’ll give her closer to 15L. Got about 10% run off. Removed some more leaves. Removed all the ties. Trained into net. Centred and turned her around. Really feeling the calcium and mag deficiencies
7 years ago
Day: 54
Temp: 82 Humidity: 30% New growth seems weaker, probably too much light. Raised light to 16” above. Removed some dead leaves and cut a handful of leaves that were blocking light. I’ve noticed weird little specks on a lot of my leaves. I think they come from cal/mag deficiencies from the incorrect ph level. Defs no pests. Premixed next feed; starting bloom nutes since the N levels are so similar. Can’t wait to smell the flowers on her.
Day: 53
Temp: 82 Humidity: 30% Lowered light 1”—- 14” above canopy. Realigned osc. Fan onto light. Finished tightening up trellis netting. Solid now. Continued training into net & Removed a few dead leaves. I think I could use a small intake fan for more fresh air and also one small fan on the bottom of the tent to push it around and cool the tent another degree or 2. XL750 is about 23” above her. I’d have it closer but I don’t have another pair of ratchet hangers. It’s supplying some extra light to LB and her terminal bud, but it’s mainly for my other plant (which you can’t see).
Day: 52
Temp: 82 Humidity: 28% Pulled growth to sides of net. She might be a bit too dense, wondering if each cola will have enough room during flowering. considering a leaf strip in week 3 of flowering (after watering). Been watching grandmasterlevel.. lol I noticed my bloom nutes have a lot of nitrogen in them, even more than veg! It’s something like 5-4-8 (veg is 4-2-6). I wonder if cutting part a of bloom would be better because part a is 3-0-0. Except the ph perfect system would be off. another difference is that part A has 2.1% calcium which part b doesn’t. I would just need to supply calcium I think. Guess I’ll just use them as directed by AN but next time I’m going to look for a different NPK ratio. I’ve never flushed before but I like the idea of flushing out excess nitrogen between grow phases and before harvest as well. It’s recommended online to flush for 2 weeks or more in soil. Considering it takes 6 days for my soil to dry out at the moment, I may only do a 1 week flush. Actually though idk if I need to flush. Reading a lot of different opinions and I’m starting to think it’s only biologically necessary for the plant if I’m really overfeeding it. I don’t think it would leech out excess chemicals in the buds anyway, it would just dilute the soils nutrient concentration and could be useful in case the roots are taking in too many nutrients at once. Since this is my first grow I’ll just do without this time and go for a nice long cure-time.

Temp 79 Humidity 30 Watered 11.5 L 35 mL sensigrow 20 mL b52 5 mL rapid start 44 drops ph up Ppm 1300 -Should have access to cal/mag since ph was corrected. Finished tying down. Removed tiny shoots on bottom of plant and some leaves that weren’t healthy or were blocking too much growth. Light height is 23” above now because I have to raise the pot to drain it. Think I’ll just keep it at this height from this point anyway. **again, almost doubled my ppm level from last feed (ppm:700 -> ppm:1300) Didn’t burn much but I’m sure it slowed things down a bit and caused the nutrient lockout
7 years ago
Day: 45
Temp 84 Humidity 30 Removed all twist ties and started using hemp. some of the twist ties were too tight and on for too long, so I noticed some of the fan leaves were being strangled & subsequently sacrificed. Need to finish tying down tomorrow so it opens up the middle foliage more. Attached ratchet hangers to hlg & raised light-height to 30” to achieve some more stretch before flower. Bought ph up & a ph test kit today. My waters ph is exactly what I thought it was anyway though. So I’ll need 4 drops of ph up per litre of RO water, every single watering as long as I’m using sensigrow & bloom. Corrected exhaust system. Put the strong osc. Fan on timer (with lights) and left the weak osc fan on while she’s asleep. Removed extra drawers & clutter in tent.

Day: 44
Temp: 81 Humidity: 30% Ex. Fan turned up to medium. Noticing cal/mag deficiency since my ph is 5.6. Should be 6.5 to avoid nute lockout. I’ll add some ph up to the next feed. Day: 39
Temp: 81 Humidity: 37% Humidifier on high. Osc fan was left off by mistake. Topped 4 more shoots near the top of the plant. Nodal spacing is pretty good and connections are widening quite a bit. LST is working quite well now, I’ve got most of the leaves tied down to each other or the main stem. Now I just tie a few of the bigger new leaves, and tuck whatever else is blocking light into the dense clot of leaves on the sides. Pretty easy to tuck now since it’s getting so dense. She Doesn’t seem to mind either.
gabedn Also, I kind of unintentionally trained her to twist when I was tying her down to with. You can see on the top of the stem that it kind of spirals as it grows now. I thought his was bad at first but I think it’s made her stronger and more firm. She’s really really sturdy. I have a ScrOG waiting too for flower.
gabedn Turned humidifier to low. Turned 5 gal bubbler bucket to low to see if it makes a difference with the humidifier now. Humidity is sitting at 35% now.
Day: 38
Temp: 81 Humidity: 42% Turned exhaust fan on lowest setting. Might need adjusting in the morning to find the perfect setting. Trained and tucked. Topped 1 of the bottom shoots. Waiting for the rest catch up to top evenly. Plugged hlg & exhaust fan into timer. Exhaust turns off now same time as lights to conserve some heat & humidity.

gabedn Moved closer to corner, along with lights (trying to increase light from walls). 4pm: Temp- 82 Humidity- 40% Turned exhaust fan on-low I want to keep it at these conditions now, so I might need another timer so I can turn the exhaust fan off at night.

gabedn Oh and I placed my bucket of water w an airstone in it, right in front of LB with the fan on it. Curious to see if it likes being misted on. I added like 2 mL of b52 in it so it would saturate the air with trace amounts of nutes to foliar feed.

gabedn Turned exhaust fan off & opened 3 vents. Added 5g bucket of water. 2 osc. Fans on.
Day: 30
Temp: 81 Humidity: 43% LST and topped 1 shoot that was getting too tall. I didn’t plan the LST that well, but it’s thriving anyway. Will see how many mains I can get in the next 2-3 weeks before flower. Attempting to root the cutting I took (unlikely though).

gabedn Honestly the damn thing is too strong for me to tie her down well. I need to come up with a better strategy cus she keeps pulling my anchors up every morning.
bud Have you tried tying down to fixed points outside the medium? I have had better luck with that as the plants tend to pickup anchors in softer mediums. Or pop some holes in the top of the container to tie through.
gabedn My pot is a bit large so I have to get better ties that will teach to the edge, but yeah that would be ideal. Thanks!

gabedn + Light is still 28” above canopy. Waiting for hangers to lower it.
gabedn Humidity tends to be around 50% (ideal). I turned the osc. fan up to high & I turned on the outtake fan on low and opened a bottom-vent for more fresh air. Testing temps & humidity in preparation for HLG 300 quantum LED tomorrow.
Day: 27
Temp: 81 Humidity: 53% Watered about 10L + 5 mL rapidstart. Used DYI water drip-ring (On 1 min- rest 10, repeat) Water pressure was too high, needs smaller pump. Otherwise seems happy. ** was a mistake to not add nutes. My ppm here must have been 100-200. The next watering was 700 ppm and shocked her a bit. Threw everything behind a week as well. A hard flush before you flip to flower and hard flush 1-2 weeks before harvest is all that’s needed imo After the first flush in between veg & flower, add bloom nutrients and mix near (but below) the level of ppm that your veg nutes were measured to. By hard flush I mean get the run off ppm to under 100 and ph to 6.5 preferably. Do it in one day for least amount of shock and let it breathe before you continue flushing.
