Lowryder the 2nd
Grow tent
2/5 Lowryder seeds. Germinated after 90 hours with 19/5 light cycle from when it was planted. Growlight arrived before it’s birth so this girl has gotten a lot brighter start than her 30 day older sister and she’s even growing faster already.

Day 95 (Week 14)

Day: 95
Placed in darkness with fans and de humidifier. Harvest in 48 hours which is also when the soil is completely dry. I discovered bud rot on the very top of the main cola and on one other bud a few days ago. I had just flushed it with 25L of pH’ed water the day before. I cut it off and have inspected the cores of each bud twice a day since, and it hasn’t returned so far. The stems are all light green. I didn’t want to harvest while the soil was wet so I chose to let it stay in the tent for two more days as intended and then give it 48 hours of darkness to dry out before I make the chop.

Day: 87
It’s pulling through. Gave the first flush two days ago. Trichomes are looking good with just a few amber ones in between. Almost no white pistils left. I think the timing is good. It’s gaining weight and new sugar leaves are looking healthy.

Closing in. Gave last feed to day. Next time will start the flush

Day: 70
It’s hanging in there but I can’t seem to avoid brown spots on upper and top leaves. Followed by dark grey spots, leaves turning light green to yellowing leaves, stalks seems to be thinner, growing a few four-fingered leaves, but otherwise healthy looking.

Day: 56
This one is still doing ok. Although a few leaves have started showing the same symptoms as the others even though it has taken longer before it started. Also it’s the only one in a 11L fabric pot. God damn brown spots with yellowing. Have watered in some dolomite lime with magnesium and foliar sprayed Epsom salt in PH’ed water hoping to stop it from spreading. Will up the nutes a little when it’s time for the next feed.

Day: 49
Pretty girl growing so well. No signs of stress

Day: 42
So far no issues. It seems that if I PH my tapwater to 6.5 the soil quickly becomes too acidic so that runoff PH can get lower than than 5. If I PH to around 7.5 the runoff at the next watering will be within the green zone. Only use citric acid as PH down. It takes very little and lasts very well. Tapwater PH is around 8.5

So far so good

Day: 28
Doing ok. The soil might have been a little too dry a little too long. First time growing in a 11L fabric pot so I’m getting to know it. Poured 2.5L water into it two days ago and not a drop ran off.

Doing very well

Day: 14
Grows a lot better than the first. Complete symmetry and no leaf mutations. It confirms that my soil PH was way too low through the first waterings
